Rotten thing is I could never pry his ass from the breach either even with a savage and yeah it's a sad state for the community in general to enjoy air vehicles when air traffic is culled by the bane of the dreaded HML "Merry Christmas flyboy's" - Rockstar North.

Had the opportunity to try get a PS4 today so that I could personally transfer on time.

Me: Hi. How much is a PS4 Pro? I would like to buy it.

GameStop employee: 400

Me: (thoughts) As I expected. Okay, I have enough money on me then.

Me: Okay. Planning to pick it up later today. And about the free game - can I swap it for a different one?

GameStop employee: (basically tells me that there is no free game offer when buying the Pro)

So let me get this straight. A console that costs 400. One that will be the standard/in high demand in a year from now probably. A very expensive console. You don't get free game with the purchase so that you actually have something to play.

Then I was told that the PS4 Slim does have that offer, and costs 50 less.

 

What the f*ck? Well, that's the opportunity gone for now. On top of that they didn't even have GTA V in stock lmao.

-If I choose the Slim, I will have to live with a sh*tty generic-ass design with nothing to compensate for it. I will save money though, but it's not like I have a lot to buy anyway.

-If I choose the Pro, I will have to live with a sh*tty generic-ass design but at least the improved performance will compensate for that. I won't have a single cent for an overpriced copy of GTA V (75 is kinda ridiculous at this point) though so I'd have to probably rob a bank (joking) or try to earn 75 by Friday.

-If I choose the original, I will actually have a good-looking and unique design but I run the risk of the console being sh*t because it'll be second-hand. I will save a lot of money, though not much in the end since I will have to get a separate copy of GTA V anyway.

$400? For a console that had no free games with it. No offense, but your local game store sucks. I got an XB1 with Fallout 4 and Forza Horizon 2 for $350, guess I was lucky.

 

GTA V's price is still stupid though, got mine from eBay and it still costed $40 because none were cheaper. Even COD goes down in price eventually.

For some reason all this past week and present, everytime I sign into GTAO I am first greeted with the T&C EULA screen which I sign, then immediately I am greeted with another screen saying something about transferring accounts. Then when I skip that I get a screen that says I must play prologue before starting GTAO. Then the game loads me into SP where my character has already completed half of the SP campaign and is loitering around on the map. Then I get to go online. FFS.

I've been taking advantage of the 25% bonus on crates these past two weeks but when I tried to do sales in calm lobbies to get the bonus money, for around three to five times, I got placed in a lobby by myself. Once when I was selling a medium warehouse and got the three trucks. It split the lobby when I was no more than a few seconds away from my destination with the third truck.

Better than the alternative. During the launch of Bikers you could keep a quiet lobby up until you did a sale. Then R* would send a hoard of red-named kuruma kids, rocket spammers and hydra hacks into your lobby.

has anyone had issues with the rockstar cloud servers today??

it took me 5 or 6 tries to log in to gta online public servers today on xbox one i got pretty much every error message under the sun, i was finally to get into gtao by going into invite only then from there i was able to log into public servers.

after that i kept getting messages about unable to save rockstar game servers are unavailable repeatedly.

I'm normally not for removing features, but I've been thinking about it lately, and I'm really swaying towards removing the option to buy ammo in the interaction menu.

 

It just takes so much depth out of the game, you know?

 

Used to be you didn't just mindlessly spam rockets everywhere - or you'd be out, and you wouldn't just press a button to top up on them. You also had breaks between big battles, because people would run out of ammo. Chasing people you'd fought with so they couldn't get more explosives from Ammunation, etc.

 

All that's gone now.

 

I guess the main argument is that armed vehicles have infinite ammo. But ... I mean, honestly, they probably shouldn't. And besides, their infinite ammo is free; this isn't - it basically just pushes it closer towards pay to win. Or, preferably, glitch money to win.

 

I probably sound like a buzzkill, and I know it's easy to like this feature because it's so convenient, but I think its taken something from the game.

Cruising in a public session in my Roosevelt and notice a dot following me on the map. I head to Vespucci Beach to try and get some good pics of the sunset and my car. I get out after setting my car up and the dot that was following me turns out to be a Marshall that promptly slams into my Roosevelt, f*cking up my shots and pushing it into the ocean. I blow up the Marshall, and see that it's a low level that was driving it. I get my car back, and head off to swap it for my Nero Custom. Low level just keeps following me, the whole time. I drive into my office garage, and get a text in-game, "munney drop?". I don't reply, just get my car and speed off towards Paleto. Kid gets pissed and spams me with messages on PSN, freezing my game and PS4, causing me to have to unplug the f*cking thing. Get it up and running again and out of curiosity want to see what the kid's messages say; it's all the same thing: "munney drop or i riport u"... Wow. Just... Wow. Are you really that lazy? Gonna go around harassing every high level player you see, begging for money? Piss off with that nonsense.

For some reason beyond known rationality, the cooldowns in vehicle warehouses only count down with time spent in-game.

I love the crew rank too. I know a modded crew rank can't be transferred, but it's hilarious to see these accounts with a single or double-digit level in their crew. I saw a level 1337 (ha ha ha, hilarious and fresh meme, I know) with a crew rank of 11 a few days ago. Didn't even own a helicopter or a boat. They must be making these modded accounts more and more obvious as time goes on.

 

Anyway, upon checking the levels of people in my session, I also see a hilariously bad modded account. Level 3004, no boat, but a black crew colour so I can't see their crew rank. Dressed like one of those textbook tryhards too.

Been playing GTA4 recently trying to 100% the single player and after coming back to V, holy sh*t the NPC drivers. In IV the AI wasn't perfect but they very rarely go full retard. In V I can't go 20 seconds without some arse pulling out on me, or deliberately swerving into me for no reason.

The mission started. I couldn't move, couldn't use weapons, the interaction menu was broken so I couldn't kill myself. Only option was quit the game and I lost the car. And this is the second time this has happened, RIP 100k.

 

Back to pigeon hunting I suppose.
