I'm not bitching or moaning or anything (cause I survived) but WHAT? Just look at it. LOOK.

Just a question, is that bike defined as your "favorite"? When I'm riding my favorite, I can be involved in major crashes, sending me flying into things that should definitely warrant death, but I survive. I think the added armor boost sticks with your character until after you actually make ground contact.

No, I don't know how to set a favorite bike. It was the first bike I hopped on when Bikers came out and I sold that. Now I don't have a favorite.

But this happened during the Ramped Up VIP work. You know the Ramp Buggy will set you flying.

There has been a silver lining to this though. R* by not fixing a glitch, but the way to get into the glitch. That opens the doors for work arounds.

TutofacilleFrance has been a boss at exploiting that.

A friend of mine was most thrilled with then creator teleport glitch workaround came back for awhile. He wouldn't shut his console down for like a week until it shut down for him.

People really should remember the lost art of jet sniping.

I'm not saying jets aren't overpowered - all I'm saying is, why are people insisting on relying on the homing launcher for jets, when this is far more effective? Sure, use the homing launcher to keep jets busy while you snipe them - alternate between the two. But if you only use the homing launcher, you're not going to hit the jet.

I just get annoyed when I think about how much this weapon has devolved players. If everyone was sniping jets, it'd be a hell of a lot harder for jets to go on rampages.

^I REALLY WISH OTHER PEOPLE WOULD FREAKING ASSIST ME IN SNIPING JETS. Goddamn do I see so many people just give up instantly when they see a jet. Just band together and start chipping away. Sure the jet might get kill you if you're the only target trying to snipe it, but add more people and the jet quickly becomes useless.

BST is something people forget using against jets unfortunately. Strength in numbers people, strength in numbers.

Exactly. The jet can't dive bomb everyone at once.

If you can get just two or more people sniping a jet at once, then it's going to have a much harder time staying around without getting critically damaged.

Ah, I see. Well, then I have no real explanation. Just chalk it up to 'one of those GTA things'. 😅

Instead of bitching about Rockstar, how about you bitch about the reason Rockstar did it - cheaters. Yet again they screw it up for everyone else.

I always forget about doing that. Thank you for reminding me! Every session I'm in there is always some billy badass who thinks hes the king. Always in a jet.

You must not have heard many. If things were affordable, people wouldn't glitch anywhere near as much as they do. That's a fact. R* should have seen this coming.

These car sourcing missions.

This whole thing is a joke. There's no profit in this. I wish I would have never bought the warehouse for it. Standard and Mid Range cars are literally pointless to collect. And half the time, the Top Ranges are just as worthless. Because you get it, and then you shot the f*ck up and lose $8,000. Then when you sell it, you get shot the f*ck up and lose a few more grand ontop of the $25,000 you just spent.

Whoever came up with this concept is a f*cking idiot.

Oh damn, I should turn that camera option on to get rid of having to look at bullet holes in my Buzzard's windshield.

also that's why free-aim is better, can't be auto-aimed out cars, and helis

Yeah that's the thing - I would have it in normal first person (easier to keep track of where the helicopter's pointed), but the moment you get shot just once, you can't see anything.

No profit? It's the second easiest money in the whole game behind VIP work. Just drive cars and make money.

Standard and mid aren't pointless to collect. They serve a purpose when you have 10 of each: to be collecting dust in your warehouse while you get top cars to source everytime.

But it takes so long. And you're getting shot at by AI who are better than actual players. I had a Z-Type earlier, and got raped by a group on Banshee's following me. It's a giant annoyance when all you're making is like, $70,000 a go. And then you have to wait 20 minutes to sell each time.

I mean I'm still doing it. But it just feels like I'm making no money. And the money is a point, but it's not my biggest. The difficulty is my main problem. It's a pain in the ass to grind with this system. If a car takes $15,000 worth of damage from Buzzards that you cannot escape from, and the Cargobob just decides to randomly drop the car, then what's the point.

I just source a car, and if it's not a Top Range, I just leave the session and retry :D

There's no way I'm wasting my time flying all the way to the top of the map and spending 15 minutes, to make like, maybe $15,000

You've completely missed the point he was making, and also you say you don't want to waste time yet are willing to waste time by changing sessions when you don't get a top range. Apologies if that sounds harsh or mean spirited (not my intention) but the guy was actually trying to help you be more efficient and only get the top range cars you desire.

Nah it doesn't take that long. Only situation where it takes a long time is when you use the Cargobob.

Quick tip for the Cargobob required ones (picking up in the ocean). Stop somewhere close and snipe as many people as you can. After you hook the car, fly straight upwards. Not forwards. Upwards. Once you see the enemy helicopters spawn, start flying torwards your warehouse. The enemy helis cannot catch you because they have to fly up first. Trust me, done it many times now.

For selling, if you do it in a public session with at least one other player in the session, no enemies will spawn at all. You just drive to the drop off. Take your time.

As far as enemies in cars while stealing, they come in a few waves then stop. If you are having issues just get out of the car, run away from it, and destroy the few waves of enemies that try to attack you. After that it's an easy drive back to the warehouse.

If you already know all this I'm sorry I am no help lol.

I know what he mean't, and I've already had the thought of doing it again today. Before that method was discovered, I had already gone through 20 something Standards and Mids. I don't really know why I sold them all, but I did. And there's just no way I can go collect 30 of them again, I've already thought it over. I'd rather just jump servers and wait 45 seconds than have to go get a Feltzer, and spend a few thousand just to get it back home, and then repeat it 29 times.

I just think it's a bad system. I don't think it's worth the time or the money. I wish I wouldn't have sold those cars, because it could have changed my opinion about all of this. But as of right now, I just don't see this as being as good as Crates or VIP work.

EDIT

@mach

Ok, I had no idea the Buzzards had to also go up to match the level of the Cargobob. I wish I woulda knew that like 20 minutes ago haha

I guess maybe I'm just going to grind through it, and do it. I already have 6 Standards and Mids in there, so why not.
