Rockstar is saying you cant do it in private lobby.[...]

Well i can do this work in an empty public lobby. I even get npcs chasing after me if there is no other player in the lobby with me, so i dont see the point why it cant be in private lobbys.

[...] I cant take people serious who just want the game to be catered exactly to how they want to play it rather than except the fact that this is how the game is designed by the people who made it, end of.[...]

Well GTA online is practicly a sandbox game and you are free to do whatever you want. Having only one possible way to play something in a sandbox game is pretty bad.

They have everything thats needed for ceo jobs in private lobbys in the game (npcs in solo public) and because of that im complaining about the bad design.

[...]The fact remains that in essence, you want the game to bend to your dull as hell concept of GTAO freeroam work and money making, thank god they dont cater it to players like you.

Whats so bad about making these jobs avilable in private lobbys?

I mean you could still play the way you want, nothing would change for you. The only thing that would change is that other players would also have the chance to play how they want, like you can play how you want.

So please answer this question with your own opinion and not this bulls*** "Rockstar says so" excuse.

Wastelander (Suzuki)

Me and a friend finished a biker job, lucky us we got our hands on a Lost Slamvan, few miles up the road on the way back to the clubhouse, it kicks us out of it on the side of the road, with the message "You do not have access to this personal vehicle." WTF.

Its a generic message when you get locked out of a vehicle.

So we just tried to do CM for a friend and I got hit and killed by some unknown missile attack right after getting into the cockpit of a Lazer in the third mission of Humane Labs, "EMP". No enemies on the map. Then a friend told me that this happened before. Is this a new common bug in this setup? Anyone else had this?

Hope you all closed the application and it didn't register. Otherwise, you're S.O.L.

It's bullsh*t. Thy're f*cking determined not to let us have that vehicle for some bullsh*t reason.

Sadly, no. This caught me completely off guard and was totally unexpected. :(

I didn't force quit my GTA application. I just heard the rocket sound like wooosh BOOM. Not much time to react.^^

Same with the lost mc burrito and many other unbuyable/unstoreable cars.

I mean we can own tanks and jets, but no inocent little slamvan.

Yes. The best scenario, from what I've encountered, is if the Hydra is to the direct right, let the Hydra and (right side) Lazer pilot get in their jets, wait till they're airborne, then board your Lazers. For some weird reason, there are SAMs behind the direct-ahead Lazers, and you get zapped everytime. It's a very weird, new thing upon restarts and first attempts (very rare).

Hope that helps.

Cackling Jack

Fu*k I'm so sick of people that try so hard when you are doing a 1v1 with them. I had two try and take me out last night then after 2 minutes it was just the one player, 2 hours later we are still going then he starts sending messages like "no ceo" or "no BST" No I aint gonna play by your rules because you have been doing the same thing I have been doing. Sh!t man I wasn't born yesterday. I've been around the block a few times. I'm sick of playing by others rules. Take your modded account and stick where the sun don't shine and that kd looks retarded as fu*k. On a happy note I enjoyed being out on top, Think my character is suffering from pdst from all the combat she has seen.

So I befriended some randos and I offered to help them complete Pac Stand, setups and finale. I notice they all have heavy combat outfits on, all drive Kurumas and generally follow the advice of this one guy who we'll call the Ringleader.

Did Vans, mostly solo (navigator), while everyone else rode together wasting time.

Did Signal and that went off fine. Ringleader dictated who can go in what car, etc. He was the one who knocked on Avi's door first so I wasn't too mad at this and went along.

We start Hack, I hop in my Patriot, the Ringleader and someone else hop in the Kuruma while another guy gets the Van. Ringleader says "bruh, you're doing it wrong" or something to that effect. "you need to get in the Kuruma bro. That car is unsafe, they'll kill you". I explain to them I plan to use this car for cover and kill the enemies on foot. I wasn't planning on just rolling up in there, spraying and praying. They accept this, but then say "oh you don't know where we're going, were not going to the Van". I then explain "yeah, were only going a block down the street to Vinewood Boulevard, I've done this before." I keep driving off so they let off, but they were a bit peeved. We finish the mission without a hitch.

Convoy is up next. I start sniping the Savage, "bruh, you don't need to shoot the helicopter, just get in the Kuruma". I explain the Savage's explosive rounds and how the Kuruma will explode. I initially had my PV parked and we would use it for cover. They had the bright idea to ambush the convoy in their Kuruma and get out then. Don't understand why that is more logical than a roadblock, but they did it anyway. It wasn't, someone died anyway when they got out the Kuruma and found out they hadn't gotten everyone just yet. But I drove the Barracks and we passed the mission fine without a restart.

Pac Stand: Bikes. I used a PV for cover. Then approached the mayhem on foot when I could. Everyone else, fully decked in Heavy Combat hops in the same Kuruma to take on the Lost.

They had all these setups on Easy mind you, while I survived them all without dying and didn't even need to touch my snacks. People still died (thankfully no restarts - probably because it was set on easy) despite the overreliance on Heavy Combat and the Kuruma.

But the bitch part of this long moan is not about an overreliance on the Kuruma or the Heavy Combat safety blanket. It's about the unwavering desire some have for you to follow their rules and do the mission exactly as they say.

These heists have been out since March of 2015. It's January of 2017. Heists are not new. They're not complicated. They're not some unforeseen challenge at this point. Surely there's people who can't pass em and surely there's plenty who can.

I never feel the need to correct anyone about their clothing, vehicle choice or strategy as long as (1) they don't die and (2) we complete the mission objectives in a timely manner. I believe in sharing advice and tips, but demanding abject uniformity at all times is ridiculous IMO. I really don't understand why people do this and think only they know how to pass these missions or only they have the strategy to beat them.

And yet here were are 3.5 years since the game's launch and people feel the need to hold hands. It annoys me so much. If my non-armored cars and casual outfits are a problem and I'm dying and causing restarts and failing the mission doing stupid stuff fine. But when I'm acing these objectives with ease, there's no need for it.

I'm still wondering why we're not allowed to take part in certain Freemode Events in Passive Mode (e.g. Longest Wheelie Challenge, Top Speed Challenge). I mean, they don't involve killing other players, right? I mean, some of us want a friendly competition and not killing-players-because-we-enjoy-pissing-them-off competition. In fact, I'm not even entirely sure why Freemode Events Update existed in the first place. Thanks R* for making us feel like we're having less fun and more of our faces being red of total anger.

You'd think with the Bikers update they'd add the Slamvan in the update but wow they didn't. It's absolutely ridiculous.

LMAO. The vehicle belongs to an actual player. I've done that twice now (once accidentally, and once deliberately). I see a car just sitting there so I take it. The first time (the accident) I couldn't understand why this guy was chasing me. Turns out, it was HIS expensive car I was stealing. Second time, I went to pick up a helicopter and there was a brightly-painted armored Kuruma just sitting there. I had MEANT to just leave it on the other side of the map, just me being a jackass ... but I wrecked it mightily on the way. Lock your cars, folks.

My complaint of the day:

Opened the interaction menu and checked out the Daily Objectives.

"Kill 20 Players."

WTF? As if there aren't enough griefers already, R is encouraging people to go randomly kill other players?

No it doesn't. I've found a Lost Slamvan after a biker job and it gave me the same message. It's impossible to have one as a PV. It's just a generic notification. It's a shame, since that thing looks amazing and I want it. A lot.

E: A little off topic but I see the good ol' marksman strafe has started gaining popularity in BF1 also. Ugh.

The other day some guy was running Piracy Prevention, he had two other associates but they were no where to be found. The guys yacht was pretty much straight west of Fort Zancudo. I head that way and see he is in hover mode in the jet above the yacht. I put a sh*t load of sniper rounds in him and hes smoking like a mofo. I didn't even think about trying to get him with the HL, was having to much fun sniping. The jet gets destroyed, he lives and now hes running around on his yacht. A couple minutes later he gets another jet and tries to take me out, he divebombs me I have my combat mg out, I throw a sticky, ignite it, I hit him and then I shot him out with my MG. He spawns on the yacht, I snipe him. He respawns, I snipe him again, dead! He then takes cover and sends me a text.

He said, "How?" I reply, "How what?" He says, "How did you shoot that far?" At this point im just thinking "what the f*ck?" I reply, "Heavy Sniper" He replies "Impossible, how come I couldn't shoot you?" Uhhhh maybe your aim sucks you moron? He accuses me of being a cheater, a modder. He and his associates/crew members all reported/kicked me. This guy was a 260 with a 1.20 KD most likely from jet griefing because the f*cking idiot doesn't know how to snipe? How can you legitimately think from a beach to a yacht is too far?

Piracy Prevention is over, he flies over to me with his Heli and tells me not to kill him. He lands, gets out, pulls out his sniper and I blow him and his helicopter up. That's rule number 1 right? Trust no one. I then lag out. Then he blows up my inbox on PSN calling me a cheater. I told him he was sh*t in a jet, sh*t with a sniper and has sh*t for brains. How the f*ck can a 260 not know the range of the Heavy Sniper? Ugh

No it it isnt quite as simple as that. You can't just put a cap on the bed and make it into a van. From the rear of the widows back it is a completely different vehicle. The interior, the rear fenders, the rear doors, etc. The whole truck is wider in the rear than the regular slamvan. People can sit in the back and use assault weapons.

I mean I'm no modder at all, but that doesn't sound so simple to me. Maybe I'm wrong idk.

Edit: I agree it is dumb as f*ck that we didn't get it with Bikers.

Kind of a B&M and Wishlist at the same time here.

I've always been bummed that we can't vault into our convertible cars like we've been able to since Vice City. It's qhy I liked topless cars because you could enter them and drive off really quickly.

I'm not sure if you could do that in GTA IV, but it's a damn shame they removed it in V

You can do it in single player and director mode provided it's an actual convertible and the roof is down. Another nice detail they left out of online is the animations for stealing a car with a weapon in hand. Looks so much better than just dragging someone out of a car. I think both of these could be done in single player and online in IV.

On Discord, while 4 of us are in a public lobby between heist setups:

We all spawn in the lobby

1: "Oh, there's someone with cargo. Let's go get him!"

2: "Ok!"

Me: "Why are you doing this? Leave him alone or would you like to get griefed while grinding? Besides, next setup is coming"

1: "But they're always doing the same with me!"

Me: "You are the reason i do CEO stuff behind my firewall. And i bet you're seeing that player for the same time."

1: "I don't care if i see him for the 1st time. The guys that kill me see me for the 1st time, too!"

Me: "So you hate beeing griefed by randoms and take revenge by griefing other randoms?"

1: "Yeah, whatever, i just kill him"

Host: "Ok, invitations out!"

Me: "I'm in."

Host: "....1 and 2?"

1+2 "Cannot join yet, we have cops"

Me+Host: *sigh*

Always the same guys. Always. Like they don't realize we have wait for them.

Or the option to open a car without breaking the window. We do that on vehicle cargo cars, but on a normal streetcar we still need to break the window.
