I'm being extremely nitpicky here, but it annoys me that the Rocket Voltic clearly doesn't have a rocket motor on it. It has an afterburning turbofan engine. Jet engines aren't rocket motors. It's even got air intakes next to the engine that aren't on the normal Voltic! A rocket does not need an air intake. You can see the turbine blades spinning towards the rear of the engine, and more clearly in the exhaust section just after the boost. Again, another thing a rocket motor doesn't have or need.

 

E: So quiet too! The engine should at least be as loud as the Lazer's one, as that has a similar engine type. Even the electric motor is louder, lol.

 

Also, the Wastelander VIP work. Love the truck, but hate the vehicles that get strapped on the back. Why make us transport things like the Space Docker, Go Go Monkey Blista and the Duke O' Death? That is a ridiculous tease. It's as if Dan Houser himself is sneering at us and the requests to bring those vehicles online.

 

More importantly though, why can't we strap our own vehicles onto it? Seems like a serious loss of potential. Damn right I want to put a friend's Rocket Jet Voltic onto it, launch it off Chiliad, then let my friend hit the afterburner and watch us sail away into the Alamo Sea. Such a massive detail and incentive to purchase lost in that thing.

So I'm doing the time trial and I'm having a pretty good shot at it. I have at least 15 seconds to spare and I'm just about to leave the highway and reach the final stretch.

 

Computer lags for 5 seconds freezing me in place. Okay, no problem I can still do th- Computer decides it's too complicated to load nothing, freezes for another 5 seconds. Goddammit don't do this now. It went smoothly all the way from terminal, don't PRETEND to work. Finish line 4 more seconds I've got th- It's time to freeze me in place and let the time run out just in time.

 

I am so angry I can't find a pic to convey it.

That's a great idea, but I have one question. Would this new professional mechanic cater to fixed-wing training jets like myself? If not, that is discrimination and I am triggered.

 

I do wish we had a more competent and professional mechanic though. Seems like he spawns my Comet flipped every time I request it. I called for a Comet Retro not a Reliant Robin, ffs.

The import/export mission to steal the car off the barge with the cargo bob? Okay, maybe it doesn't win the gold prize, but absolutely gets at least Bronze for being one of the stupidest missions I've ever played. Never doing it again! What a complete waste of time!

 

So I drive way out to the middle of nowhere, kill 4 or 5 guards and steal the cargobob. Then I crawl out to the coast. I fly over, hook the car, fly back to the coast, set it down, and wait. SIX HELICOPTERS? Are you freaking kidding me? It's a mid-range car? It's not even worth the ammo I spent shooting down those helicopters. Why are there six helicopters? And why am I on the map now?

 

I thought the import car doesn't show up on the map until I export. Nope. Last few times, I've been showing up with a BIG announcement before I ever get to the warehouse: LOOK EVERYBODY! A CEO IS DRIVING A CAR! GO!!!! KILL!!!! STEAL!!!!!

 

So while I'm fighting the last helicopter, a couple people steal the car.

This game is a waste of time.

Repeat after me everytime you have to do this mission:

 

-Get the 'bob;

-Hook the car on the 'bob;

-Fly up and away with the 'bob;

-Beeline away to your warehouse with the 'bob when the Buzzard appears.

 

My repair bills are always less than a thousand everytime I use this method.

I do this but I have the snack menu open while hooking the car in case the AI has a direct view of your head.

 

I think you'd be lucky to incur less than a grands worth of damage I'd guess I take two or three with flying as fast and direct as possible to my warehouse. Maybe mine is further away.

What annoys me, Are players that are really good with attack choppers. They can prove to be more troublesome than a jet at times.

 

But at the same time i can't help but compliment their skill.

The best advice I can give is not to rely on the homing launcher too much if you can see that he/she is using buildings as cover, or there just aren't enough people about and they can dodge your missiles.

 

In that case, minigun them if you can. If they're out of range for that (which you'll almost never see with a Savage; I'm not sure it can even be done using the cannon on it) then snipe them instead.

Yeah, The homing launcher is quite useless towards skilled pilots of any aircraft. I usually do get the minigun, Or go on the run with the Heavy Sniper.

They are always either Friday or Thursday, at 5 pm EST. Always. If they have one that isn't one of those two days, it is because they are streaming with a "celebrity" that happens to be in town and on a tight schedule, which means they won't give out anything anyways. So yeah. Fri or Thurs, 5 pm EST.

Aaand I got banned.

It could be any of these things: illegitimate money dropped on me a few months earlier, suspending GTAV.exe in order to have an empty lobby which I have been executing for a few days lately, Fraps being open in the background (nonsense), or a random jet idiot accusing me of cheating yesterday and thus, sending a report. What I know is, I wasn't a saint so I knew there was a reason - might be one of those I mentioned.

The things I'll miss is the time (playing actively from September 2015 nearly every day), a collection of unique T-shirts and over $47M I have earned/stolen. The I/E alone yielded me around $14.5M by now.

 

That also means I'll never buy the Ruiner 2000 or Rocket Voltic, a discount for which I have been waiting for since I/E dropped.

 

RIP me.

If it was either of those (aside from suspending GTAV.exe, I just lag out instead), I'll probably be joining you soon if I hadn't already did. Did R* send you an email that says you're banned or was this a 'surprise'?

 

Seriously, ever since this whole banning thing became overly sensitive I've been getting more and more paranoid. Avoiding Fraps like hell for at least a month after an update, joke remarks of 'suddenly: "u been b&" screen!' when GTAO takes longer than usual to load, and even avoiding the game altogether in case the servers have a bad/trigger-happy day. This is ridiculous.

The homing launcher ... It's a sh*tty little thing. Tends to just mess you up if it glitches/lags, or if you don't know where it's from (so groups are mostly out of the question, and off radar players).

 

That's another thing actually, forgot to mention it - off radar will either destroy a helicopter or force it to back off and give you space.

Anyone else's Interaction menu not working properly during special vehicle missions? I go to click it sometimes and it comes up with 'Volunteer to join an org......" and I can't access snacks or armour or anything at all and its lead to unnecessary deaths during the missions. Happens randomly and is f*cking annoying.

My biggest problem with this game is not being able to open the menu during loading screens. It would give me something to do than just looking at the damn clouds. It would also be a quick easy way to exit online or find a new session when you get stuck in the clouds.

To backpack on the current helicopter issues; what's the deal with getting ousted while passenger when starting something?

 

In the past few days it seems common to be automatically ejected at random whilst starting a mission? Even when I am president/CEO and not pilot, I just get thrown out.

 

Pretty goddamn annoying.

This happened to me yesterday. I just assumed that i hit the enter/exit button on accident

You know what really grinds my fu*king gears?! Try hards. Try hards that go out of their way to follow you around the map in passive then try and kill you after you killed them 20 times. Or even better they grab a jet in passive mode and switch out every 5 minutes, Just fu*k off and leave me alone and don't send me fu*king "lzzz' thats just fu*king pathetic. How about "Good game" or is that to hard?. Sorry for the long rant but people wonder why I go all JackIrish and kill ever motherfu*ker in the session.

Just came back from playing RDR and now for the first time I really noticed how much the combat system in GTA5/online sucks.

 

I love shooting people in RDR and also fist fighting.

 

When you shoot someone in one knee/foot, he doesn't walk normal anymore, shoot him in the other knee/foot, he goes down on his knees and can't move anymore - but still alive.

 

Shoot someone in the knee/foot in GTA? Dead.

 

Fist fighting in RDR? Person goes down, gets up again etc. You can even tackle them to the ground.

 

Fist fighting in GTA? 3 hits, dead.

F*cking griefers. Never really saw many until this week, but regardless of how many players are in a session it's now impossible to do any CEO work whatsoever. It's not as if it's random players either, it's other CEOs blowing up my I/E cars and what not. Last week I was in near full sessions with no griefers, which certainly made the game more fun. When people just play to be assholes I genuinely wish that a meteor hit them in their head the next time they go outside. When you spend all your free time being an ass in a game I can't imagine how much of a tool you're IRL.
