I use solo lobbies when I just wanna get something very simple done (like change my outfit) that doesn't require a public lobby because they usually load really quickly.

What about the difference between solo and invite only though, I've long thought that solo sessions are redundant as they are in practice identical to invite only but you can't do as much in them. If they were removed from the game it wouldn't make a scrap of difference to anyone as far as I know.

To backpack on the current helicopter issues; what's the deal with getting ousted while passenger when starting something?

 

In the past few days it seems common to be automatically ejected at random whilst starting a mission? Even when I am president/CEO and not pilot, I just get thrown out.

 

Pretty goddamn annoying.

Been thinking about this. You do special cargo alone and obviously hope for a simple pick up. You get a mission that is a '3' say shoot Valerie then enemies then back and forth to warehouse taking ages.

 

OK so you as your character can pick up 1 crate and 1 crate alone before storing it and going back to get others.

 

Now if you can physically lift 1 crate why can we not steal a lorry or use a vehicle we have that would carry all 3 and take them back at the same time?

 

Absolute joke. Whilst I do play with friends I also like to work alone sometimes and if you get say 3 of these 3 individual crate missions in a row I.e Valerie, dinghy to the Marquis and 3 helicopters you can spend 30-45 mins with cool down getting 9 poxy crates

That was my thought process about it as well, the first time I noticed there was a Solo lobby option added I jumped in to check it out and couldn't believe that I couldn't access or become a CEO or MC pres by myself when there are plenty of activities to do for each that don't require any other players. Just feels pointless when you can do that stuff in invite only even when alone.

The import/export mission to steal the car off the barge with the cargo bob? Okay, maybe it doesn't win the gold prize, but absolutely gets at least Bronze for being one of the stupidest missions I've ever played. Never doing it again! What a complete waste of time!

So I drive way out to the middle of nowhere, kill 4 or 5 guards and steal the cargobob. Then I crawl out to the coast. I fly over, hook the car, fly back to the coast, set it down, and wait. SIX HELICOPTERS? Are you freaking kidding me? It's a mid-range car? It's not even worth the ammo I spent shooting down those helicopters. Why are there six helicopters? And why am I on the map now?

I easily outrun the two helicopters that spawn and get back with $0 damage every time.

that's not getting into the fact you can carry ALL firearms , grenades , portable artillery , melee weapons , many snacks , 10 body armor and even switch to a set of spare outfit ( or a part of accessories ) , yet you can't even carry more than one crate

Repeat after me everytime you have to do this mission:

 

-Get the 'bob;

-Hook the car on the 'bob;

-Fly up and away with the 'bob;

-Beeline away to your warehouse with the 'bob when the Buzzard appears.

 

My repair bills are always less than a thousand everytime I use this method.

apparently my eyesight are getting worse from time to time yet even during night while hooking a car , i still could dodge the pylons in last seconds ( both by reflex and remembering common locations of pylons )

When someone is being a freemode warrior and you check there character and there wearing black bulletproof helmet full black combat suit and white boots. If I see someone who is getting lots of kills in freemode and or killing themselves every few seconds, I check there character and if I see them wearing white boots, there probably one of those who think K/D in a game matters where your supposed to be stealing cars. Its the name of the game ffs.

I hope in rd3 if you kill yourself when fighting other players it negatively effects your K/D if there is one.

Thanks for the advice. It never even occurred to me. This was the first time I'd ever actually HOOKED the car, and I had read about buzzards, and I thought "There's no way this monster's going faster than a buzzard" and I thought I read someone somewhere saying: land and shoot them down. I was just surprised there were SIX of them for a mid-range car.

 

I'll take your advice next time.

Yeah the first time I did that mission I landed (luckily it was the location near Zancudo so I was able to tuck away under the freeway near the beach) and then realized what a huge pain it was trying to deal with the buzzards on foot like that. Read someone mention just hoofin it with the cargobob and so next time I tried that and only ended up with 1k damages (seems to work better the lower you fly) compared to the on foot time with 10k in damages lol.

 

Edit: here's another B&M I got, I appreciate that in the office and MC clubhouse that I'm able to sit on lots of various couches/chairs, yet in my high end apartment I can only sit on the couch... There's numerous other seats depending on the layout you pic yet it's all just eye candy. Sh*t irritates me lol.

Wait I got one more.

 

I dunno if anyone else has experienced this but I've had the 'hunt the Beast' freeroam event pop up 4 times for me now since it's been introduced. Each time I don't hit right on the D pad since I haven't had any interest in being the beast at the time. Yet every time, all four, I end up turning into the beast. I could see once or twice but 4 out of 4 times when I'm not hitting right on the D pad and it's a full lobby?!

 

Even if I end up having fun being the beast at the time, it's almost annoying how I keep getting picked for something I'm not trying to participate in lol.

 

Curious to see if it continues happening at this point.

Made 3 Million during the 2 weeks of the Double Export payouts. Except it was 2 mil one week and 1 mil the other.
