Why is it when someone leaves a full premium race lobby on ps4, it wrecks the lobby 99% of the time?? That last player never joins, and it justs sits there at 7 players until we all start dropping out one by one. Frustrating as hell!

I don't know why it happens, but I can confirm it does.

 

Haven't done premium races for a couple weeks (since H200) but whenever that eighth person in the lobby decides to leave, there's a maximum of four of us left in the lobby before people start to join again. Normally me and one other person though ; sometimes just me left.

Ok so i don't have a video, but today I finally got a sea form green color car after driving around for 2hrs. I was in passive mode next thing I know I got shot and killed? I was in passive, is t something going on? Is this bu**s**t happening again? I LOST MY NEWLY STOLEN CAR AND I AM F**KING MAD AS HELL! I send him a message "reported" He spammed message me to join a party then sends me a voice message, if you don't join my party i am getting your IP address and going to kick you off line and ban your account for 25 years. Once again some kiddie does a ddos attack. WHY do people have to be this way? I was in passive not bothering a soul!

PC? If XB1 or PS4 report it immediately. That should be an automatic permanent ban.

Those damn NPCs that drive around in Surfers and Journeys with your crates in the back that won't stop for anything. Giant helicopter parked in front of you, dude! Drive right into it and plows ahead and not my Buzzard's near-death. The drivers are also crazy-driving (when spooked) bullet-sponges

Chased a Surfer all the way to the convenience store east of Poleto Bay (north of Mt. Gordo), then drove it back to the Derriere Lingerie warehouse. Only 10th of a mile difference between going clockwise or counter-clockwise around the map. A bicycle may have been faster.

As heavily mapped as the controller buttons are, it's something that the PC players have the advantage of a keyboard for.

^ The thing that bugs me is both the PS4 and XB1 support USB keyboards - still waiting for a game to actually make use of that. I could choose guns with 1 button in DOOM and here we are 20 years later with a 4-dimensional weapon wheel.

The part of the lobby, after all the players join, where you choose your car and then can bet and/or look at the other racers all takes place on the trigger point's area.

 

It's why you need a certain radius of available flat, obstruction-free ground and why it has to be placed on natural ground.

You might be right and that would make sense. I thought there was a lobby camera part separate to the trigger but it's been a while since I got as far as bothering with those details. For now I'm busying myself with figuring out how to attach bits of track to other bits of track.

You're thinking of Hack (where you drive in a Gang Burrito, attack, switch electrical component, then drive away in another Gang Burrito, escape and blow it up)

Vans is where you use Trackify to locate and photograph four PostOp delivery trucks then steal the "right" one and take it to Lester's.

 

I've seen all sorts of ways the stupids fail that one:

• touching the trucks before they're identified
• shooting at or blowing one up
• alerting police before you get the right one
• FAILing at Trackify and not finding all four in time
• going "full Rambo" at the driver and getting a 3,4,5-star wanted level and taking too long
• killing each other (somehow)

It's why I demand to be a navigator and try to do all the locating and photographing, personally. I can truly solo that mission in less time that 3 other randoms could locate and photograph one van. It helps to know which neighborhoods those vans cruise in.

You would think so, but there are a remarkably large number of things that are not bindable on PC.

Registering as a CEO for example is "Context Action", which means I can't separate it from what I hit to start the time trial. I couldn't find a way to bind the button that goes to Passive mode upon death last year, and had to remap my Steam chat button instead.

 

My B&M for today.

1) Bullets and object collisions. I was doing a gang attack the other day, just NE of LSIA, and this chain link fence deflected about 10-15 bullets - didn't even get a knock down on the NPC. Of course, their bullets go through chain link fences just fine.

 

2) TDM balancing. I've been screwed twice by this in the last week; both times ending up on the team with fewer players, and half my team not being able to score a single kill in 10 minutes, which means that I and whoever else on my team has some idea what they are doing are basically doing all our match at 2:1 or thereabouts (basically 4:2 last week, 5:2 today). Couple that with the spawns on Berth Brawl which meant that my team was chasing after basically 2-3 advanced rifle spawns and the other team could reach the full set of snipers, MGs, and everything else.

got pretty lucky to even win considering the 1st time around the lap the car behind me got so much air off that dip that leads to a quick right turn he actually landed on my spoiler as I began my turn and essentially kickflipped me off the track and onto the beach below so I had to respawn, going from 2nd place to 7th...

 

oh and of course the win screen glitches out and shows my character with pimps car...

Low level players who insist on coming after you again and again then cry cheats. What has to go wrong in someone's mind to think they, at level 100, should initiate an attack on a level 300+ and persist over and over, dying repeatedly?

I ended up climbing onto a roof to avoid them, one went off the radar then threw a tantrum when I heard him coming up the ladder and had my gun ready for him. It's like these guys don't know that when there are only two routes up to a roof it's not hard to predict where someone's going to come from.
