I completely disagree. I'm looking forward to having a little bit of peace and quiet so I can get some money together and get back to PvP without having to worry about my Ammo bill.

I don't know what mission it is, (Hostile Takeover, maybe?) but whenever someone starts it, if I get a wanted level -- even if it's for an unrelated reason -- I can't shake it off. I killed myself multiple times, the wanted level still persisted.

 

I wasn't even an associate at the time. The only way I can get rid of it is by leaving the session. It's so f*cking annoying.

Was trying to do some crate work in a lobby of 4 other CEOs, a couple on my friends list, two others had offered a 'truce' if you like. Enter a level 46 and a level 2000 ().

 

Messaged the level 2000 to say I wouldn't be dropping bombs in my Buzzard and the same went for level 46. Both messaged back to say no problems. Starts a crate run in an old camper and lo and behold, level 46 is speeding up behind me, spraying the van. Just got to my warehouse - then I messaged to call him a prick, then followed and blew him up until he left the session. The level 2000 starts firing at me then

Kills him with the heavy and sent a message complementing him on his modded account and sh*t gun skills. He kept coming until he kept getting ruined. Thing is, why do these absolute pricks do it?

 

The level 2000 had no skill at all and had the standard cheats monkey mask and outfits. I reoprted the prick, he left.

I wish rockstar would disable passive mode in armed vehicles mainly the jet.

 

I wish they did away with the jet, period. It has no business in a game like this.

It's really not that bad.

 

I wish people would just get over it and move on. Jet this, jet that. I was in lobbies with jets yesterday. I got blown up by a jet. You wanna know how it stopped? I used passive mode

"Oh jets should be banned from the game" hell f'ing no. No.

I love the jet. I just don't like how players jump in and out of passive while flying the jet.

Yes it is, especially when you are vip waiting for your turn and get that 5 minute cooldown forced upon you. Yet you are on the other side of the map not even participating.

Exactly!

It should be like Exe Search or Piracy Prevention, if you come close enough you'll participate.. so you can at least avoid it beforehand.

 

Or maybe like Hunt The Beast, press right on the D-pad to participate.. or activate it from the phone, I don't know.

 

I mean, just some suggestions, but there are surely better ways than the current method.

Luckily, I already called Lester for an Off the Radar service and SecuroServ for my Buzzard to head back and get a Hydra for payback, so I sneak killed him and then flew off, but thanks to R*'s convenient despawn mechanic, he was close enough to lock onto me with a HL, I bailed out of there and tried to order my personal vehicle, and just to my luck my current car had to be my own Zion while he had a Tyrus, I did reach before him to the helipads but not early enough to get away with it.

Some advice for flying a jet if you get a lock on you start a loop towards the right or left and use the rudder controls to correspond with the direction of your choice.

It's useless for doing anything else than griefing, which Rockstar seems to encourage. My crate runs and every other mission are better done in a heli, which can be landed at a spot and provides the speed and firepower to solve any predicament I can get into.

 

So, yes. It's useless, other than the ugha bugha approach.

I disagree completely, ive said it before I'll say it again. The jet continues to make me money every time I log on. I get anywhere on the map faster then a buzzard. It's great for almost all jobs i do whether VIP work like HH or sightseer to contact missions of all kinds. It's amazing for crates, picking them up and protecting them and my organization. It's also great for collecting bounties and blowing up crates, also stopping other organizations from doing vip work. (which is part of the game. Fighting each other) i bought mine for 3 million I would have payed double. I love the jet, my cars have all become show pieces.

 

It's funny I'll usally be minding my own business and someone will fire a HL rocket at me, they shot first so I don't hesitate to kill them from the sky at all.

You draw fire because 99 percent of the jets contain griefing idiots not using them in any productive manner. Experience taught me to shoot at any player coming near me and it taught me to missile treat any jet being overhead.

I get that but why pick a fight? I'm just saying.

 

Some people absolutely despise the jets but I hope one day you can find some fun with them by not judging the beast on what others have done with it. Even solo, during some contact missions it can be great fun stealing a jet for practice. Artificial Scarcity (I think that's the name) can be great fun and practice, I highly recommend running that with a lazer. Its how I got better.

 

Not saying you have to git gud or anything but the jet can be a great tool and experience to play with. But to each their own.

Flying buzzard around. Someone locks onto me with homing launcher. I evade and missile doesnt even come close to hitting me. I crash into a power pole and blow up and it says such and such exploded me.

Ok so i don't have a video, but today I finally got a sea form green color car after driving around for 2hrs. I was in passive mode next thing I know I got shot and killed? I was in passive, is t something going on? Is this bu**s**t happening again? I LOST MY NEWLY STOLEN CAR AND I AM F**KING MAD AS HELL! I send him a message "reported" He spammed message me to join a party then sends me a voice message, if you don't join my party i am getting your IP address and going to kick you off line and ban your account for 25 years. Once again some kiddie does a ddos attack. WHY do people have to be this way? I was in passive not bothering a soul!

PC? If XB1 or PS4 report it immediately. That should be an automatic permanent ban.

• 10 minutes from console start to game load.
• See that there's four other players in the lobby, but all in their apartments.

• within seven minutes, all four "Players left."

• The "You are in a lobby by yourself" message.
• Another 3-5 minutes to change sessions.
• New session, I'm alone.
• Another 3-5 minutes to change sessions... one more time!
• The "Connection to Rockstar servers was lost. Returning you to GTAV."
• Throw another console out the window.
