Every f*cking time..... why do people just disappear off the map when I start a sell mission? I look all over the map but don't see them anywhere, smfh..... easy mission too. I just needed all their lazy asses here

I meant over the course of your entire GTA:O experience, not in an evening, obviously. Check your missions played number, you might be surprised

 

and we call it GUTTA. jk. as i see it, a dense person is one who is so sure that the info he has is the only legit info, and refuses to accept any new info, critique or improvement advice, denying himself progress due to sheer ignorance while tenaciously avoiding logic. in the normal / hard case at least.

 

EDIT: I should add, i'm talking about contact missions, not heists. I think heists are better played on normal unless one is confident in his team.

So I stupidly decided I'd attempt to do the Post Op vans selling mission. I got to the last stop of the second van - with only 2 minutes left to to do the third van.

 

Was never going to happen, so I turned off. Rockstar left a little subliminal messaging to toy with me at the end as well.

Homing launcher interfering? Or are you talking about homing launcher missiles anyway (rather than Buzzard-fired ones)?

apparently just 3 dodos give me narrow window for delivery

but as for land vehicles , i'd say calling buzzard/hydra for moving A to B is good option , especially bailing out ( provided if you survive and the falling vehicle didn't cause " Domino failure " that would've been completely derailed your sale )

Well, there is a simpler term for that: close-minded/conceited, incapable of critical thinking, i.e. either accepting new information without verification or not accepting new information at all.

If a statement is to be acceptable and possibly valid, it has to stand a strong point.

 

Yes, the mathematical truth is that a small amount times many times equals a great amount, but for me it just isn't worth it. It's hard already trying to find a normal person who won't backstab you.

I would like to add that the time lost with failed missions due to incompetent players losing the only life on hard equals the amount of mission time done on normal.

It is much harder to find a group of competent people vs a group of incompetent ones. GTA Online is riddled with idiots.

my excuse is the one that came with my 360 didn't fit my large head and i opened that headset up all the way and it was uncomfortable it pressed against my temple and yes i know i could have bought a after market headset but i didn't wan't to.

Was in my jet defending my MC in the garbage trucks. Buzzard ended up taking me down somehow then flew towards my trucks. Didn't give him the satisfaction and changed sessions before he could blow any up

And that was just the finale! Not the setups, just the final mission. 2 hours. Good thing I was playing with very patient people, everyone stayed until the end dispite us having to restart several times because of disconnections.

Lock-on in general.

 

Vehicle-launched missiles have worse tracking and range compared to the ones fired from the handheld launcher. Buzzard is also one of the few (if not the only) helicopters small and nimble enough to dodge handheld launcher missiles in the hands of a skilled pilot.

Is you NAT type set to open? if its moderate or strict than thats probably causing your problem, after i changed mine to open all my network problems disappeared on my Xbone.

I don't know how things are on Xbox, but over here on the PS4 side, the conversations you hear randomly seem to be held mostly by children, bigots, people who don't know how to use the "mute" button, people who believe we enjoy listening to their god awful distorted music, and just arseholes in general. In other words, why would I want to turn my mic on and talk to these people? It's different if you meet the exceptions, but poor mic etiquette gives me a headache and I often just escape into my own private chat where I can concentrate on the game or listen to music instead. I'll talk to people that I know, but in general and in my opinion, there are few conversations worth having whilst playing this game.

Hahaha I've only just signed up and I'm in this thread, might aswell get comfy I suppose To be honest it's more of a wishlist post. But whyy don't we have a jetpack yet? I would really love one, this game would be sooooo good. It doesn't even need to have weapons. I would actually spend real money. Would anybody else? Not to mention Flamethrower, Katana and Chainsaw. But instead we get about 7 variations of a knife.....and 10 pistols. I could go on much, much longer but I will save it for another time. Peace.

My friend was trying to do CEO work and another CEO got in a jet and started attacking him for his crates. like... what? You're over rank 250, you clearly have an office yourself, yet you're still trying to grief even though you know how much of a pain in the ass that is? Needless to say he got his ass taken down, though my friend got him before I did. He tried getting in a hydra again, so I blew it up as it spawned. Dude leaves CEO, goes into passive mode, and tries pulling the BS that is following my friend around for a bit to pull himself out of passive mode to kill him. Meanwhile I'd blow up any air vehicle he'd try to get into.

 

He didn't get a single kill.

 

After we got tired of his unsuccessful chicanery, I just got my friend to go to my yacht while I kept the idiot out of the air. Once he was there, I went back to the yacht too, keeping in mind it's all the way up in Paleto.

 

Jackass is of course in his own Hydra by then, still in passive mode.

 

TIL: yacht defenses don't care if you're in passive mode.

Is you NAT type set to open? if its moderate or strict than thats probably causing your problem, after i changed mine to open all my network problems disappeared on my Xbone.

 

My NAT is set to open but I think the guy that was hosting might have had it set to strict or moderate because it was mostly he who got disconnected. I didn't even think about that, I probably should have told him about it, maybe he didn't know that you can change the NAT type.

Joined a random contact mission, Titan of a Job, easy money. Someone gets on mic, tells everyone he's got this and tells us not to enter the airport hangar. I say screw that and head in with my Tropos. Killing enemies when I hear a horn behind me and then get run over by a dickhead in a Rhino. Seriously, who the hell brings a tank to a mission like this? One wrong shot and you'll- yep. He shot too close to the Titan and blew it up. *facepalm of monolithic proportions* Jesus Christ, man... How hard is it to just head to a location, kill all the enemies, take whatever we need to or blow up whatever we need to, with no bullsh*t?
