Bolt does sound hella awesome, yeah. But I won't use it for a very long time I think, unless somehow there are missions in which the army enrolls you, the theme isn't right, I can't do it.

 

But yeah, maybe if I need it for bear hunting, but I hope there are proper powerful hunting rifles instead.

Guys I wanted to ask you a question: I pre-ordered RDR2 from Amazon, and I selected the day one delivery (Standard)... anyway I wanted to know if it’s possible to receive the game one day earlier since I’ve read that sometimes it has happened before with other games.

I really hope they give us a good selection for hunting and not limit us to just the bow to get the 3 star meat. With 50 weapons I'd imagine at least a couple would be good for hunting bigger game that still won't ruin the spoils.

If it happens, it is completely down to luck!

Ive been with amazon for years - and have never had it any earlier than the day it’s released, sometimes even the day after just because they couldn’t make all deliveries in the same day!

Personally i will wait until black friday in november cause i dont have a PS4 just a sh*tty old xbox360. so i will just take care of the DVD a few weeks. I will watch some gameplays after 26, but not missions.

Unbelievable that this sh*t is still going on. Yes I GET IT. I know those are insane work hours but as I said earlier, they knew what they signed up for at this point. And to boycott the game over this well you may as well boycott the whole f*cking industry cause guess what? This ain't just a rockstar thing. I get it I seriously acknowledge noth sides but the worst thing you could do is drop support of the game over this. You would make their overwork you're so mad about be for nothing and that's even worse!! jeez is this the world we live in really this sensitive? THIS is exactly why I hold my making music and performing, pursuing my real dream. And people's art so dear to me.. the world truly is sad.  And they wanna do articles on how GTA and all this causes the world's violence when reality is especially for someone like me who was severely bullied and still affects me to this day. These games HELP me NOT want to go ballistic on those people who f*cked my mind up with all this anxiety and sh*t. There's things much worse than GTA yet people cover rockstar because the media wants the clicks and to spread false sh*t making it bigger than it is. This is just annoying to me. It can go in bitch and moan thread if need be but real sh*t as this is the topic right there and we are so close to release I would hate to see people's hype go down over this bs going on right now. Support their game don't give into the negativity and hate. As you can see. This hits a bit more of an emotional point for me cause of that certain point.. the hypocrisy over the violence.. what it does..

To me Sadie makes the most sense just judging by the trailers we've seen and nothing else. We've seen her and Morgan a lot together and saw him saving her in that burning building scene in trailer 3 (I think) which could spark something. I've been a big Sadie fan since I first learned and saw her character and while it may seem strange that she romantically does get involved with Arthur since she is supposedly hellbent on getting revenge for her previous husband, people do change. 

 

I do feel half and half whether I actually want it to be Sadie, though. I do think she will end up dying in the story and I'm expecting myself to be disheartened from it, but then if you pile on that her and Arthur were extremely close to eachother and perhaps one day trying to get out of this game to really settle down, well that would just make me even more disheartened lol.

I thought about this for a while and my conclusion is this: These people choose to work there. If they absolutely hate it, they can quit. Simple as that. Of course they could have a contract about how long they should work. Don’t know how much of that Rockstar has, but it’s their choice if they want to continue or quit once the contract has been fulfilled. They aren’t slaves after all.

 

That being said, I think it’s important to still be aware of the sh*te working conditions and crunch time that takes place at pretty much any game developer.

I’m up for work at 5:30am every day, 7 days a week and done at 8pm. And I work outdoors, in a physical labor intensive job where I’m so exhausted by the end of the day all I can do is shower, eat, and sleep. Where’s the fake outrage on my behalf?! lulzjk. 

 

Anyway ... Hope these last days leading up to release are filled with more hype than gripe lol.

Lets not act like this is some story drummed up to be a hit piece aimed at Rockstar. It's one part of a much larger and often criticised part of the industry. These crunch times are bad, you cannot in any shape or form twist it to being good. You can also not at all blame the employees for it, quitting a job in the industry because of crunch means you're gonna need a change of career and probably have to relocate. That's not a practical solution for everyone, many of them will have families and children.

 

We all love Rockstar. We don't have to always love their methods.

thats a great shot and i havent seen anyone mention it, but do the horses look kind of weird in rdr2? like they are too slim or something? this isnt the first screen ive noted that on.

 

on the working conditions at rockstar i find it pretty odd people pretend they care. i mean they probably do care,but most of your clothes were probably made by someone (in some cases a kid) working in bangladesh where the women get sexualled mobbed, and they probably have similiar work days but earn like $2 a day. not to start with children in africa still starving and nobody really doing anything against it. two wrongs dont make a right but its kind of a hypocritical discussion.

 

at least the rockstar devs have a choice, they earn really good money, and probably can find a job at a friendlier gaming company pretty easily coming from rockstar.

 

also i see nobody boycotting rdr2 which would be the logical thing to do if people truly cared.
