No scans my dude.  Best to delete them.

Is it forbidden by the GTA forums rules or by magazine publishers?

Yeah. I mean, this is just a meaningless description of the size when we don't know how far zoomed in they were or where they started from.

They were zoomed all the way out and started in New Hanover.

Both. Lol

There's a big disclaimer and note about scans at the top of the page.

Yeah, those lawyers and their funny little copyright laws...

Always was weird to me for example (an exaggerated example) that I can buy a t-shirt with a Misfits logo, but If I wear it, oh boy, the lawyers can sue me for it...

Yeah, either way it's copyright infringement and high profile magazines tend to take action against forums that allow scans. It's happened many a time in the past which is why most big forums don't allow them sadly.

No decent forum allows scans for the same reason they don't allow people to go linking to pirated movies/tv. It's piracy.

Tangible magazines deserve support anyway, they are a dying breed. I love them.

Honestly I think the only time I actually read Twitter/YouTube/Instagram comments is cause I want to read the bad comments.

Piracy is such wonderful platform for hypocrisy... but this isn't a surprise, hypocrisy is practically everywhere in this world.

But anyway, there is a very good side to sites with pirated movies etc. It's the only place you can find pirated digital copies of lost and forgotten movies and/or videogames... Ones that you can't find anywhere, not on ebay, not at your friend's place, not in your father's collection, not on amazon... nowhere...

Abandonware/rareware is not piracy (latter is debatable). Magazine scans are piracy and magazines take action against websites that post scans. That's it.

Feels unreal to know that in 2 weeks I will be playing this masterpiece.

When you're happy it's only in two weeks but then you realize you still have to wait them out:

I have to say, with only two weeks left to release, the features tab on the RDR2 website is looking kinda lackluster. Didn't the RDR one present many more features?

Oh, really? That seems odd. I won't have a reason to come back to the RDR2 website after I actually have the game lol.

Yea, this whole marketing campaign has been off to be honest.

Some of them will come after release, like here. Some of them are not even needed...kinda, like Honor & Fame

Wait, the specially created score of a 192 tracks - will be muted?

Wow... I did not know that. Forgive me I have been avoiding all articles recently to miss any kind of spoilers.

Stuff like, the soundtrack and possibly...not 100% People of The West came later. Since some were stranger encounters, could be wrong though

I'm also surprised we've not had an honour and fame feature to be honest!

They're pretty hush hush this time around...i'm ok w/ that, imma bout ready to just jump into this world now!

Hopefully Weapons & Deadeye go up later today!

A couple of nights ago, I had a dream where I got to play Red Dead Redemption 2 on October 28th (two days after the release date for some reason). It's been a bit so I'm not gonna remember all of it, but I remember some of the following details which we've seen before and some slightly new ones:

Don't take these seriously like they're predictions or something. This is just stuff I saw in my dream that I found to be quite fitting for the game.

  • The social options included plenty of more stuff such as donating cash to a hobo's hat or stealing the money already in his hat, responding kindly to an old lady making a question to you or unkindly, which would lead on to a more in-depth conversation where you can pick two different dialogue choices and one of them may continue the conversation while the other may just completely cancel it.
  • The area the "gameplay" was set in looked like a run-down village with very small houses and plenty of dirt paths to get around. For some reason, I remember being locked inside this village and trying to wander out of it would produce a black and white effect which would indicate me to go back, very similar to spaghetti western movies.
  • There was a lot of clothing options, including differen't bandana styles, hats, shirts, scarves, coats, pants and boots. I also remember seeing some special types of clothing that had the R* logo on them and complete outfits from the get-go you could put on right away and then modify to your liking by changing things about it. There was also custom outfits.
  • First person mode was very fun to play around in, much better to control than GTA V's. You could examine your weapons closely in first person, kinda like how it's done in CSGO.
  • The bounty system was dynamic and similar to Mafia 1 and 2's. To petty crimes, lawmen would walk up to you and ask for a fee for them to go away. You could pay them or you could try to talk your way out of it.
  • Children were immortal. You'd point your gun at one and the reticule would just go gray like how it does in GTA V when you point at a character you can't kill.
  • Every weapon felt really powerful and sounded nice. I'm talking almost PS2 Black levels of sound design where every gun sounds like a kick to your face.
  • I don't really remember this part very well, but I think I could take my hat off anytime I want and leave it in my horse's saddle inventory. I may be confusing things though.
  • By the end of the dream, I crafted a molotov from my inventory using a rag and a bottle of alcohol.
