Yeah, obviously 100MB isn’t possible to be RDR 2 size, no doubt about that. Though I’m familiar with Xbox 10-11MB licence files unlock digital content this is the first time I encounter 100MB that acts as a mere receipt. That’s why I supposed it might be 100GB and was asking about possibility of “MB” part being a typo. To my mind it’s indeed not very typical of Microsoft to provide incorrect data, hence my questions.

Meanwhile I agree that whatever RDR 2 size is gonna be won’t matter too much

I've been pre ordering digital games since the consoles launch, and in my experience 100MB files are pretty common. Battlefield V's pre order file size is 96.8MB, Just Cause 4's pre order file is 100.8MB,  and Outer Wilds pre order file size is also 100.8MB Besides, it couldn't be a typo anyway, as I actually have it (and those I listed) downloaded. So there's that...

I can't believe the 100MB discussion is still happening. We've been over this, and over this, again and again since the game went up for pre-order.

 

Oh well, I guess it doesnt cost anything to post them one more time...

Len & 7 described it correctly. In addition to the main placeholder system file are placeholders for any other special edition content you may have purchased.

I'm reading that the leaked PS Trophies are fake.

If so, that's a really good fake... but at the same time some trophies did kind of give away the leak being fake.

 

Here's the Reddit discussion. It still goes without saying that look at the leaked trophies at your own risk, even though they are likely fake.

The leaked trophies aren't fake. Just the rest of his info is.

 

Also the trophy icons have also leaked and they seem to match up with the leaked trophies.

I feel like maybe I'll head to whatever town is closest and check it out. Then maybe just ride my horse around a while and just take in some sights and begin familiarizing myself with the map.

Damn good question. I think it'll be a more impromptu decision for me....wherever the spirit moves me. I want to really immerse myself in the game, so we'll see.

The trophies and icons are legit. You'd have to go pretty far to design all those icons. Plus they've been confirmed legit by others. And as far as I'm aware, he consistently 'leaks' trophy lists for games early.

TBC. The latest CoD requires 100gb but when it's finished installing it sits at like 55gb. So, we have no idea what the file size is at the moment.

Going by what Jestic said above, the leaker managed to install the day 1 patch onto his PS4 and accessed the trophies that way. That's probably how he's leaked trophies for other games in the past. What he's lied about is getting these games early. He has zero knowledge on the game and he knows nothing about things like file size, map size, etc etc.

He downloaded the patch and extracted the images from the patch. Unless that patch is fake, which I imagine Jestic would've said something about by now lol, they're 100% legit.

Ok I gotcha. It is odd though how the crab in the trophy matches a random image on the internet though lol. 

 

What happened anyways to get the leaker to confess to not knowing anything but the trophies? When I feel asleep he was mentioning things about the map. When I woke up everything had turned into a lie lol.

I don't know the full story but apparently the leaker got on a Discord server and was questioned by someone who had actually seen the game about the menu or something, and he got it wrong. Plus he flat out refused to post pictures and talk details about the game which is fishy anyway.

 

And yea, it's an uncanny match lmao. Someone's been a bit naughty/lazy maybe.
