Apparently from one of the articles, after Arthur dies...he this time spawns near a building leaning against it, i hope this time around you can actually do that! maybe even spark up a cigarette and just enjoy the time of day.

whew boy.

That could just be a set respawn animation though. There was a lot of that in GTA V.

Also in this screenshot Arthur seems a little fatter than the usual.

One little thing I would like is the ability to just lean against buildings, tree's and rock formations, etc. Such a simple little action can go a long way for immersion. Maybe even optionally have Arthur smoke a cigar(ette) as the scenery rolls past. Wolf whistle as pretty bo...err, I mean fair maidens walk past.

There's a lot of stuff that seem very unimportant but go a long way for immersion.

For instance, people always ask "Who cares" when I'm annoyed I can't walk in certain games instead of being forced to constantly jog everywhere.

I care, because it just looks stupid. Who does that? Nobody just runs everywhere, not in real life and not in movies, so why are you forcing me to do this in your game?

This is where options come in and save the day. Indeed, Rockstar can't cater to every whim and fancy the player has but your suggestion of implementing a walk when pushing fully on the analogue stick isn't really ridiculous. You could even use it by holding down the right analogue stick for example, or open up a context menu that let's you choose to have Arthur a) run everywhere or b) walk everywhere.

I dunno... He's wearing layers and the angle is from below. It would make anybody look heavier.

I'm not talking about this game, I'm even pretty sure you will be walking unless you're in combat when you push the stick fully. And you'll have to press X to run.

And that's not even what I was suggesting, I was just suggesting having the ability to walk, period.

In Max Payne 3 for instance, there is no walking if you're using a keyboard. NONE. The only way would be to be aiming at all times, that the only way you're allowed to walk in Max Payne 3 when using a keyboard.

Ah, yeah I understand. In GTA when you drive a car it's all or nothing when it comes to acceleration on keyboard, but on a controller you have pressure sensitive buttons and can half throttle a car.

The only time i think i've seen Arthur w/ more weight around his face is the shot from gameplay Pt II...like his face looks more swelled up.

Could of been in a fight or something...

Spoiler

Plus they did say if he doesn't get any sleep...he will look a little roughed up, tired...look at the bags under his eyes!

Not exactly.

There's a bit of that, like NPCs will remember what you did if there were witnesses to your actions.

But every NPC you meet, you can just interact with, and then interact again after they replied or reacted, but it's another kind of interaction based on what they just did or said.

It is kinda the same, because in Shadow of War when you kill an Orc and he survived he will hunt you down until your dead or if you kill a blood brother that orc is gonna take revenge etc... there is so much interactivity in SoW and it seems like its gonna be the same in RDR 2.

Im gonna kill as many ppl as i can in RDR 2 just to see how much the world will react to me.

He seems to have a beard in this new shot albeit it's under the bandana, note the sideburns and you can see a few hairs of it poking out from underneath the bandana on closer inspection

True. Wider range of options when controlling a car in GTA on keyboard would've been nice.

Even though I myself rarely use a keyboard when I drive, I use the controller, and drop it when I'm on foot.

Yeah, but you can't really go and interact with any random orc you want in SoW, is what I mean, you can't really initiate dialogue and react to it and make them react to your reaction.

Gonna put some of that pomade hair stuff all up in arthur's hair, then go fall headfirst into a mud puddle so that I have this disgusting mass of sh*t all over his head

Remember in GTA V when you can press both round and square so you can intentionally fall? Hope that makes it into this game too!

Would so funny if you could do that while on horse back, just slump and fall off your horse as another cowboy rides past.

I wonder if we can lean over the side of the horse to hide or use the horse as a shield
