Yeah the game was and still is amazing...

...with so many many annoying flaws everybody neglects when reviewing this masterpiece. (Overrated doesn't necessarily mean bad, by the way)

In Geralt's own words: Following some dog's trail? Not exactly how I imagined this game... wedding.

Interesting thing. I just pre-ordered RDR2 on Xbox-Live and I was told that money from my card will be withdrawn 14 days before release, on all other pre-orders it is 10 days

Sorry, I do not get behind your posting,...

That's weird it always says 10 you're right. Possibly it might be downloading 14 days out or something

I found the two minute (I timed it) loading times every time I died to be too frustrating to continue playing and I don't particularly care for Geralt anyway. It's still installed on my HD but I don't really have any intention of playing it anymore.

I'm sure people be like "get good" but in order for me to get good I sometimes have to die a lot. I learn by making mistakes. It doesn't keep me from wanting to make mistakes because the penalty for death is so tedious, it just makes me not want to keep playing.

Also I like the side quests in that game way more than the main quest.

But why are we talking about Witcher 3?

Guys with all due respect, witcher 3 compared to, for sake of example, assassins creed Odyssey, is like comparing gtav to watch dogs 2.

Witcher 3 is an awesome rpg, cd project red are on par with rockstar game when it comes to delivering an immersive, over the top, quality single player games.

Those of you who play and love odessy and didn't play witcher 3, stop right now with this generic, overrated game, and play witcher 3.

2 weeks until the best open world game to come out, and set the bar for the many, many games to copycat this game (Ubisoft i am talking about you) and fail miserably for doing so.

Here's a prediction: When it comes to the *ahem* ladies of the evening, there'll be a randomised chance of Arthur catching something like herpes, which will leave visible signs on his face and cause other characters to remark on it, and those in the nicer areas like Saint Denis to be even more vocal in their disgust.

Yeah the game is flawed and it's not perfect in many aspects, but I think that the whole is more than the sum of its parts. When you put everything together I really do think that TW3 is a great game. To each their own I guess.

35 hours in, and it is dull as f*ck, only reason i keep playing is there is absolutely nothing else to play right now other than this.

how is it possible that if it were to occupy 105GB in ps4, in xbox it is about 70-80?

Should not something be something more or less similar?

How many GB differences are there with GTA V with everything included to date?

Does anyone know about the subject ?¿

It is most likely on par with each other. The largest version will be the Xbox One X, although slightly compared to the pro.

After that the Xbox One S and ps4, lastly Xbox One

We should be wrapping up this Witcher 3 discussion, and I'm almost done.

But a game can still be a masterpiece even if it has flaws. Like Ocarina of Time is the highest rated game ever made, and it runs at 20 FPS.

Even in RDR1, you got this one task where you have to earn $1000 in gambling, but for some reason that amount gets deducted when you lose money while gambling. So it just becomes a save-stating fest.

Also the Bonnie missions at the beginning are a massive buzzkill.

In 10 days time, it will be the 2 year anniv since the first trailer was released...!

In 16 days time, the game will be arriving and I'll be playing this beast...!

I'm really struggling to believe that this is reality and not just a dream anymore...!

FML!!

70-80 is probably actual game size. Remember PlayStations recommended space for DL is more than the game actually takes up. For instance, PlayStation has Far Cry 5 listed as a minimum of 50gb for download however the actual game size is less than 38gb. RDR2 will probably be in the 70-80gb range once installed

The story in Odyssey is so so but the combat is better than the Witcher 3.

New preview on The Guardian (no spoilers) https://www.theguardian.com/games/2018/oct/10/red-dead-redemption-2-wild-west-adventure-realism-preview

Quote

I became mildly obsessed with testing the limits of its realism, riding into tobacco fields to see whether there were people working there (there were), switching to a first-person view to minutely examine characters’ faces and the insides of drawers (I found some pomade in there), greeting every single character I passed to see if they would respond differently (they did). What’s different here is the verisimilitude.

So they were right in the Treasure of the Sierra Madre, when they bite they won't let go. I always wondered if that wasn't just the script writers.

With Sony revealing they are working on the next gen console - will R* pull a GTAV and release on both current and next gen (when it is eventually revealed), maybe with DLC exclusive to the next gen too?

If GTAV was any indication, yes.
