If I remember the OP got the map and other screens from a friend who worked at Rockstar. I mean he had other screens showing debug stuff and mission names, which is why he asked me if the name "Dutch" and members of his gang meant anything....lol

This is what i meant. Are they referring to the one leaked years ago? Or is there a new one?

It's true. From what I gather from all this, is that once they're approved, they can only see the Church forum and nothing else. They can opt out any time to come back to this forum, however.

Whats the point of having a spoiler-free thread if the community is all split up? 

 

Spoilers are not coming anytime soon, unlike the official stuff.

Yeah they can't see anything but their own subforum.

 

The question also arises that if members are admitted via a popularity vote, what's to say you won't get admitted 2 weeks from now?

Personally, I think you can make out like a bandit by not applying to the other forum. You can still be spoiler free. Just spend time there, post with them but with the caveat that it'll be screened. And if (when) the calling to look at the mapping thread or whatever thread that trips your trigger is too much, it's no big thing to jump back in. Idk. That's just me .. I'm not too concerned about spoilers at this point.

Part of the problem is that some people look at ALL leaked content as spoilers.

That's normal though. Trophies usually don't go live for big games until the day before or on release. Happens a lot with reviewers and such.

Well that's up to them. I mean, everyone's different. To them, a leak that others would think small and insignificant can change their view of the game. If someone wants to dive into RDR2 completely oblivious then that's up to them. It's not my personal view, bc I need a few leaks to garner some hype(!!!), but everyone's different and I think respecting them for their choices/viewpoints is important as well.

I wonder if it has to be synced up with Sony's servers first or something. I know when I go to view my own trophy list sometimes it won't update. If the trophy data isn't available, I don't imagine anyone can earn trophies

Although we consider the majority vote as per the rules, we can override the decision as we see fit depending on the member's history. Warnings, etc.
