For me it's that I'm a bit older so my excitement isn't really there. V really worned me out that two year long wait from announcement to release. I was a sophomore in High school when it got announced to a senior when it got released. Then getting disappointed from other games like Watch dogs the following year though I've kind a warmed up to that game a bit more now.

While it's probably not the most popular opinion to side with here I tend to agree. When or if the gameplay trailer drops I will be hyped like the others in here. It's hard for me to get excited like a child when you don't get to see much of the game itself.

I don't even know if I ever been this excited for a game. GTAV came close I think but RDR2 is more special. But I have to say that my excitement is less then a couple months ago because of the lack of information. It will come back when we are closer to release

The problem is that because of the lackluster marketing there’s not enough visual proof of the game being actually “that” good. Because we’ve seen so little of the game people’s imaginations and expectations are running wild.

 

Because of this a lot of people have caused this game to become overhyped, and this will probably cause a lot of people to be underwhelmed no matter how good the game will eventually be.

It’s what happened to me with GTA V.

Man understand me, im beyond hype. i thought GTAV and UC4 had me excited this is on another level tho. Ive changed my home screen on my phone, screen saver on my laptop, home screen on my pro to Arthur or some kind of RDR2 screenshot. My woman is convinced i care about this game more than her...she might be right but that's beside the point. Im shamelessly f*ckin obsessed, I'll just be glad when this game is out so i don't have to feel like this for another 5 years.

In terms of gameplay, do you reckon you can scale or increase the HUD size and how will the HUD look. Will it be simple to infer the game's systems from?

I think the HUD will be customizable like we'll be able to turn certain things on and off.
