I remember in Red Dead Redemption competitive game modes being locked to specific weapons depending which area of the map you played in. (Example: Sometimes you would start with a regular repeater and a Double-Action Revolver and other times it would switch up to Henry Repeater and LeMat Revolver and if you wanted to get some better firepower there were some crates in the area that allowed you to grab a better special weapon such as a Evans Repeater or another pistol/revolver when you walked next to it).

Omg your posts about the online get me so nostalgic I miss when the game wasn't modded to sh*t look at that full lobby in armadillo.. I remember the Henry being in that little shed thing. All the time would pick up the lemat and Henry in that area, remembered where they were and wreaked havoc. I liked that system, maybe a mix of that and your own weapons would be nice. Alternated every once and a while! Also man there was nothing like the fun before matches started... The live lobbies NEED to return and I think they will. Lol fist fights and random whistling just to hear the noise while other players did the same was hilarious and listening to your character talk I remember one of the miners was a favorite for my dad and I. The character said "I f*ck pigs that smell better than you!" And "ya mama f*cks livestock! Wouldn't wanna get near her... never have" Lmaoo

Dude!! Whoever mentioned the weather in-game yesterday really had me excited. We could possibly see the most realistic rain/thunderstorms in Red Dead Redemption II that we’ve ever seen so far in an open-world Rockstar title yet. GTA V’s was even impressive imo.

 

Watching old Red Dead Redemption Free Roam vids on YouTube and this particular one caught my attention. @0:37 the way the horse reacts to the lightning/distant thunder and hearing nearby dogs bark when it happens it still cool.

 

 

Imagine a cheeky Rockstar Easter Egg if a piano player played the Max Payne 3 theme peacefully in a saloon.

One little detail weather wise I wanted to see in Redemption was to have lightning formation in the far distance. In this scenario, you will see lighting far away, but won't hear thunder. Just to add to the atmosphere, you know, seeing the sky illuminating in the distance, but the day/night is quiet (no thunder, no rain). It happened very rarely in Redemption and was probably just because of a glitch.

TMWSLV also has my all-time favorite western villain - Lee Marvin in the title role.  Absolutely brutal for the time, especially when compared to all that came before him.

Lighting and rain storms were already very good n RDR and I think it will be even better in RDR II.

 

One thing is I hope they don't do and what the did for Thieves Landing where it was never sunny. I would like to see maybe more bad weather overall but you can still have good/bad weather in any area of the game.

RDR is Rockstar's most immersive game in terms of realism but RDR2 is going to completely blow us away.

I really don't feel like doing the treasure hunt in GTA online. I feel like they're just going to add it in RDR online anyway.

Can anyone tell me -  if I do these gta treasure hunts etc. do I have to use the same screen name in RDR2 to be able to use them or do they just give you a code...

It will go off your Rockstar Social Club account. So as long as you use the same account you use for GTAO in RDR2 then you're set.

Henry Fonda in Once Upon A Time In The West is one of the greatest performances ever in cinema in my opinion. I will always rate that movie higher than the dollars trilogy. From the justice jury in 12 angry men to an ice cold child murderer. Incredible actor.

Same, I don't remember ever being this excited for a game (actually, I forgot about the upcoming second series of Telltale Games' The Wolf Among Us). It's the main reason why I finally caved and bought a PS4.

Most excited I've ever been for a game release in my life.  I keep crossing days off the calendar inching towards the next milestone.  This week that milestone is Thursday...3 months until release !!  I have a feeling this will be the longest October in history.

I love summer, but I'm ready for it to be over to get me closer to October 26th.

I bought a PS4 PRI mainly for this game. Whenever rockstar release a new game it's like Christmas for adults. The last time I was this excited was for resident evil 4 I loved the first red dead but didn't have any hype for it as I wasn't sure what to expect. It blew me away.

Its normal to be excited with this game, we are talking about of one of the best games in the videogame industry. RDR was GOAT for me and to many others.

this sounds weird but why am i not exited for RDR 2 ? back when GTA V released my hype level was off the charts but now nothing i feel like im not hyped for this game at all is it me or their lackluster marketing or what ?

Ah so Australia and South Korea haven't got the update? Even though it's the 24th over there? Basically the only reason I was asking was to figure out how soon it could be for someone to find the data/code for a treasure hunt (if there is one.)
