Assuming the same thing for for human NPC but on a lower scale.

Did a little "unofficial soundtrack" for RDR 2, inspired by the music from the first trailer/teaser. Hope you like it:

It's called "End of an era".

If we get anything this month, it will probably be the treasure hunt along side some screens or something maybe. I don't expect gameplay until August, so anything before is a bonus in my book.

I doubt that. Rockstar are going for realism. It's going to be brutal for both animals and humans.

I think it will be like GTAV but better, you shoot a NPC, they moan & groan in agony, scream, shoot back(final stand) etc. RDR2 NPCs might crawl to cover, hopefully the limb grabbing returns, better bullet reactions etc.

Hopefully responsiveness is much better then gta v..

Like when you shoot someone in the leg the limp or fall to their knees.. I thing in RDR if you shot someone in the stomach they would crawl.

And yeah, I know it will be brutal either way..

The description from the new skinning animations sound intense.

I’d like to watch if someone gets shot in the leg or arm, they will try to get to a doctor ASAP before they bleed out

This will be good to see. In gta v they just gave up and died after a shot to the leg

I can see this fitting into the game.  Nicely done.

I'm hoping for soundtrack details...the one for RDR is always in regular rotation for me.

i've bought RDR2 on the PS Store, its got a countdown timer on, it also says expected download date 24/10/2018 so on that date I can download RDR2 but it'll be locked till the 26/10/2018?

This was one of the things I hated most about V (not that I don't think it's a great game).

In GTA IV I used to hide in one of the hospital hallways and have shootouts with the cops, and try to keep at least one alive down the end with me, occasionally shooting him to see how long he'd survive.

I think my record was 15 shots (hands, arms, legs, feet etc) before the 16th killed him.

in V not only do you kill NPCs in one hit, but it seems (online especially) that NPCs can kill you extremely quickly, at least compared to other GTA titles...

With blood infections and overall quality of medical care back then, they might as well just give up.

Nevermind, thought you said RDR.

I hate that after getting the game home I'm gonna have to wait hours before playing it while it installs.

Those last few hours will be more torturous than any drought!

Agreed. The most immersion-breaking part of it in my opinion is how you can shoot people in the head several times. I mean, realistically I guess you could survive getting shot in the head but you’d probably collapse within seconds nonetheless. But in any case you wouldn’t just jump up and continue walking and shooting as if nothing happened.

I also hope there’s much more realistic gore and more realistic responses depending on where the bullets hit.

I'll be sitting there waiting impatiently sipping on a beer until I see it change from installing to 'ready to launch'.

What's going on in here girls and boys!? I was really hoping for some news in July but there is still no release date for that stupid Nightclub DLC. I could really use some fresh RDR news tbh.

I feel you ... you could buy a ticket for Hype Train 8991 meanwhile if you haven't got one yet?

Honestly I wouldn't expect anything less that Red Dead Redemption 1.

It's going to be brutal, I mean it's Red Dead after all.

It won't be as brutal as RDR was, it will be more watered down like GTAV was compared to GTAIV. Still can't wait though...

That one dude from IGN who played the rdr2 demo said the sound from a limping buck due to an arrow will haunt him forever and is nothing to joke about...

Which makes me question...where the f*ck did he grow up? Bubbly candy cloud land? :D

Yeah I believe it will be. You can't really compare it to a last gen game which most features were striped due to the hardware at the time.

RDR2 being a next gen game has been built from the ground up so expect nothing less than RDR.

Yeah, exactly my words! This is one of the reasons why I'm so glad that Grand Theft Auto VI will be a next-gen (PS5, Xbox 2) game instead of releasing anytime soon and be held back by non-powerful enough hardware as was GTA V, obviously.

Thanks for agreeing! I don't know why certain people insist on comparing this to a last gen game. Plus it's Red Dead, it's how the eco-system works (lasso, body weight, ragdoll, gunplay, shootouts)

You can always look at the map while it installs.

Typically disks do not take that long to install I would say 2 hours at the most.

Unless internet interferes with disk installation..?

The ragdoll physics was such a staple of the RDR experience, and Rockstar knows it.  I'll be floored if it isn't in RDR2.
