Well i don't know about you guys, but i just got high and watched a video that contains al the trailers in a row just about now. It was amazing, this game is going to be amazing, amazing. I've watched the Hosea storytelling portion of the trailer so many times now, such a good good scene. I also found my new favourite quote from RDR2. My old favourite was: "Yuve gat to kipp FEYTH!"

A rough summary really, a lot of the trailers happened at 11 am est, announcements at 9 am days before, they're unpredictable. BIG news is most always in the mornings. But It's best just knowing they'll drop stuff when they're ready and they know what they're doing. It's near impossible to get their schedule completely guessed lol

It's interesting by the way because it seems like R* knew more about the presidential election 2016 back in 2010. Because the slogan of Nate Johns, running for governor in RDR, is "Make The West Save Again".

 

As well as in 2013, because in GTAV there is also a parody of a governor election, kinda referring to the real life presidential election of 2016. Because on the one hand we have the fictional candidate Sue Murry (liberal candidate who wants to increase tax to help the country^^), who seems to be a parody of Hillary Clinton, and on the other hand we have Jock Cranley (conservative candidate who hates immigrants^^), who seems to be a parody of Donald Trump, given the fact that in Jocks TV spot it is said he is a former showman etc....

Man... just writing this and watching the video reminded me how smart the R* writers are^^

 

 

I'm not saying this is a huge conspiracy, it's just an interesting coincidence or the Houser brothers had their connections that let them know Donald Trump is running for president, as well as Hillary Clinton (but this was obvious even back in 2013).

 

It's going to be interesting how politics are involved in RDR2. We know that in RDR Nate Johns pretty much was the main reason why John had to hunt down his former gang members, because his promise was to clean the state.

So.. we know Red Dead Redemption 2 will be rated M, obviously. But interestingly, the first red dead redemption had quite grisly sights if you zoom in on the gashes left from bullets... Especially with a carcano rifle.. the game only had blood as it's content description.. do you guys think that RDR2 will have blood and gore this time..? Honestly I think so. After hearing this game has quite a few Max Payne 3 elements and is just the Pinnacle of everything rockstar has learned while making games. RDR2 will be a combination of all the best including our beloved RDR of course.

Oh man, I'm tempted to completely turn off every possible element of the hud as soon as the game lets me do so ... it'll be amazing and I suppose I will get lost several times in the world and whatnot! I also think this will ensure you get surprised by new stuff even hundreds of hours into the game. You won't constantly look at the mini-map to see if some icons pop-up.

 

Like you make your way up all the way on top of a mountain and ask yourself ... hm, I need to get to Saint Denis but how exactly do I reach it ... You (Arthur) take out your binoculars and investigate the trails, ... After some time you hop on your horse and start the journey.

 

Arthur's going to rob this train, isn't he? Did I say that the horses look glorious yet? The horses in RDR1 were amazing already and still are the best horses seen in videogames to date (imo!), the ones from RDR2 are on a whole other level though ... marvelous work R*!

I’m pretty sure “Make America Great Again” was actually Ronald Reagan’s slogan before Trump used it so that’s probably what they were referring to with “Make the West Safe Again”

All jokes aside though, this drought may be the shortest but it feels like it's the longest, let's hope they won't fail us. I can't wait to see the game in action.
I don't think we're getting anything RDR2 related this month, it's reserved for GTA Online's Nightclub DLC, unless they find an appropriate time to release the gameplay trailer

My money is on early-mid August...
