Yeah Franklin was a really bland underdeveloped MC, one of the worst of the series.

 

Not sure I would call Trevor well developed but he was memorable at least. I think Michael is the only MC in V that Rockstar seems to have put real thought into but even then other stuff like his annoying family dragged that story down.

Definitely looks promising from the trailers, especially trailer 3 showed that there is more to him.

M, F, T ... most unlikeable and stupid characters in the history of all entertainment. Fetch was a better character than all these three idiots combined! The writing was all over the place as well, at parts so stupid that I could not motivate myself to even finish the story.

I agree, this is my main problem with V. With three main characters there was a lot of tech R had to use to make that work and also a lot of features that had to be cut. They basically split the script of the story in 3 pieces and therefore none of the three characters really made an impact imo. Tbh i'd rather have one protagonist and have all the recourses go into that one protagonist.

Exactly, I hope they don't do multiple protagonists in GTA VI either, it was unnecessary and didn't even add much to the game (if anything it detracted from the story).

My thoughts exactly. I have hunch that Arthur will be a very interesting yet complex character. The guy gives of so many vibes in not even 10 minutes of trailers combined.

 

He seems like a cold blooded savage in trailer #2 and in trailer #3 he seems like a calculated peacemaker.

 

I haven't been this intrigued by a game character in a long time and I haven't even played the game yet.
