Maybe the food thing is to supply the camp. But we might have to eat to refill stamina or something.

maybe so. i thought maybe coffee has something to do with Dead-Eye wonder if whiskey and Tobacco will make a return as a source of gaining Dead-Eye?
i heard someone say in a video (being hear say) that Dead-Eye was fleshed out more. kinda like in the Witcher with finding clues or Tracking Animals kinda thing if thats true thats a nice touch.

it brings up a bigger question, we know we have to replenish health & Stamina. Seeing how RDR2 is alot more RPG based im pretty sure there will be alot more "core stats" we can improve.  What about the environmental awareness skill? food could play off of that idk . you would think rigors of the west including feeding yourself. I mean who wouldn't want to go from eating bird in a camp somewhere to moving to the city and having meals come to you? lol.

Special edition is the one to go with in my opinion. (If you're not that bothered about multiplayer)

Even if you care about multiplayer, you don't really need it. I'm pretty sure you can obtain the stuff from the ultimate edition in online normally but it will take longer.

Red Dead Redemption has been removed from PS NOW? (?)

Did It? If it did this is great news hopefully it means they remaster it or port it for PS4

Yeah the only things that are really exclusive to Ultimate Edition owners and can't be obtained by other players are two outfits and one saddle.

Yes, it's going to be interesting to see how Dutch really was before he went "crazy" as John explains in the first game. The character i'm most exited for is the young John Marston. In RDR2 he won't be the calm and collected, experienced, self-educated, respectful, reflected man we see in the first game. One screenshot that illustrates this very well is the one where he had just pistol whipped someone. Looks like Rockstar is going all out when it comes to the cinematography and composition because for a person like me that took cinematography from sophomore to senior year in high-school, this screenshot tells me A LOT.

CD Projekt Red is still the best company in terms of selling and monetizing their games.

For Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt you bought the game physically or digitally and you got the complete package. No in-game Pre-order boni or Special Edition with exclusive in-game content. You even got the map, the soundtrack, the manual, stickers and a compendium inlcuding art and background information for the world of The Witcher for buying the Standard Edition at your local store. And if you pre-ordered the game you received a Comic Book called "Killing Monsters" (A short story with Geralt of Riva) for free, that was also sold seperately. The digital edition was DRM-free (GOG) and included the artbook, bonus videos (with behind-the-scenes stuff) and a detailed map, not to speak of the nice GOG goodies like wallpapers etc.. And all that for 60$, you didn't even need to Pre-order to get the full experience. Also the Collector's Edition actually included the game and included high quality stuff for a good price.

Just see for yourself:

http://www.ign.com/wikis/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt/Collector's_Editions

After launch they published 16 free DLC-items in the weeks to come.

And 5 months after launch they released the first expansion for 10$ featuring hours of new gameplay and new stories. And 7 months after the first expansion they released the second one for 20$ featuring a whole new city with a lot more gameplay and story than the first expansion. Then they released the GOTY edition which contained both expansions in one edition with the game for 60$.

Now compare that to the GTAV Premium Edition, the monetization of GTA Online, no Singleplayer DLC ... the Ultimate Edition for RDR2 that locks in-game content behind a 30$ paywall or the time-limited exclusive digital pre-order boni.

CD Projekt Red has become better than Rockstar and BioWare. It's funny because CDPR stated both of these companies were their idols. I'm excited for E3, finally Cyberpunk 2077 will be revealed and CDPR can show everyone how it's done: No shady microtransactions, no lootboxes, a complete package for everyone.

I still love R* because they create great experiences but since 2013 they are becoming more and more anti-consumer. But I'm still looking forward to Red Dead Redemption 2, probably one of the best games of this generation.

I've never noticed before in this screenshot until now when I looked at it on my cell phone and zoomed in, but there's what looks to be blood splatter around John after pistol whipping the other guy.

CDPR are for sure the best developer in terms of consumer friendliness. Can't think of any other major developer that comes close in that regard.

i did read somewhere that they went so deep with immersion they had to dial back on some of it because of afraid of it being too tedious
i know i read too about the trigger buttons on the controller if pressed correctly will draw the hammer back on a revolver
i'm interested in to seeing how that works out.

this is already implemented in GTAO with the double action revolver

You can cock the hammer of the revolver back and shoot when you want? No you can not because it's a double action revolver. Once you pull the trigger it pulls back and releases then fires. A single action has to be cocked to fire every time.

no i was talking about the hammer moving when you press the trigger button halfway the hammer will move but the gun won't shoot, obviously this is a double action and you can't cock it but at least we get an insight of how this mechanic is going to be.

Ohh ok. You get a glimpse of the single action at the end of trailer 2 and 3.

I'm not too experienced with pre-ordering stuff. If I Pre-order the Special Edition on their site, will I get it on release day in UK?
