Rockstar should troll us all in GTAV by adding a Midnight Game Pickup mission, where one player gets a message to pick up his game, and he has to get the game back to his apartment, before the rest of the lobby kills him and takes it away. 

 

Like the old Simeon car delivery missions, that were so popular.

In honor of RDR 2, I'm treating myself to a Samsung 860 Pro 2.5" SATA III 2TB Internal SSD worth CDN$ 1,118.64.

 

The hard drive in my PS4 Pro recently died and the PS4 won't boot up. I'm getting the best hard drive available (best in the world) so that my PS4 will run exceptionally fast and the RDR 2 experience will be that much better

You can replace the digital UE pre-order with the digital SE pre-order, since you are getting all the UE bonuses with the physical copy and you have the same treasure map and cash bonus for the SE digital pre-order. With that you save 30$, but you get the same content.

I'm spending CDN$ 1,118.64 on the drive so I want to make damn sure that my PS4 will benefit from it. The drive is the best on the planet and would work phenomenal on a PC but I'm not sure of it would make a big difference on a PS4 Pro.

The PS3 version of Red Dead Redemption had 2 additional gang hideouts that didn’t exist on the Xbox 360 version of the game, and they never came to the 360 through DLC either.  

 

Correction: it was made available in the GOTY edition (thank you to TheExecutor10).

Actually if you pre-order the physical one, you loose out on the treasure map and cash bonus. Because these two things are exclusive to digital pre-orders (treasure map by July 31st). So in terms of in-game content it would be wiser to get the digital one. If you don't care for the cash bonus and treasure map, get the physical one. If you want both, then have fun spending 170$+ on one game (already explained it in previous posts).

The PS4 Pro doesn't even support that kind of speed.

You can play them on Xbox 360 with the GOTY Edition. I did.

In RDR1 you also had items to replenish your health and Dead Eye and the stamina of your horse. So I don't think this hints to "no more regenerative health". It could very well be the GTAV model like you said, but it doesn't have to be.

The art book was noted to have 208 pages and hard cover, the collector's catalog is 150 pages and looks like a soft cover to me. So it could be a possibility but I kinda doubt it.

You are insane to spend that much on an SSD, you will not notice the difference from a standard SSD.

 

It's also nowhere near the best SSD on the planet, it's SATA not PCI.

I really don't get the criticism towards the Collector's Box not including the game.

 

Rockstars explanation makes total sense. You will have different people wanting to buy different versions (Standard, Special, Ultimate / digital, physical) in addition to the Collector's Box.

I’m waiting to pre order until more places put it up. GameStop, Amazon specifically. 

 

I can live without most of the extra stuff, but If i was to order now I would go for special edition content. 

 

Physical copy is a must for me, I hope Amazon or GameStop, probably Walmart as well include at least a poster. Plus I’m going to buy the book on Amazon when I comes available so that’s a better package imo, make my own special edition. Lol
