Cigarette cards sounds like a new collectible in game...

12 Cigarette Cards: These beautifully-illustrated collectable cards can be found throughout the world of Red Dead Redemption 2. This physical collection includes one select card from each set like Famous Gunslingers and Outlaws, Stars of the Stage and Marvels of Travel and Locomotion.

Damn.. War Horse looks so different  Looks badass though.

Disappointed that they're kinda following Ubi regarding mission bonuses and sh*t -.-

I can't be the only one dissapointed and let down by the ''additional content'' in the super-duper edition that they definetly didn't cut out of the original game?

Very underwhelming imo.

Indeed. The bonuses for the story mode makes no sense at all imo. Why the hell should I pay more for side missions in story mode? I should get them for free. The Witcher 3 had 16 free DLCs the first months, including side missions. I'll stuck with standard edition. I won't support this ubisoft-like bs system

The pre-order missions think is new for Rockstar, previously pre-order stuff has been weapons and clothes.

Keep in mind Rockstar haven't released a game since 2013, alot has changed in pre-orders since then.

Lol,watch them announce crafting down the road crafting and give you options(force you indirectly) to buy with real money different craftable components to be able to craft something.

My bet is that the gameplay trailer will drop 2 months before release, like the GTA V one

Paying 30$ extra for just some digital goodies (plus the fact those who don't want to pay 100$ for a game can't play some side-missions and get some horses and outfits) is really anti-consumer.

They probably think that since R* has such a large fanbase and a strong brand recognition, they can charge people 100$ for a game. Also given the fact RDR2 is the most anticipated game of the year and it's their first game in 5 years, they probably get away with it and make a lot of money with the Ultimate Edition. I mean, look at it from this perspective: It's like you buy a 30$ shark card at launch. Strauss will be happy.

They are surfing the wave of hype and money GTA O brought them.

But I hope it hits them(and I think it will, since I doubt the RDR fans are as young/manipulative as GTA V/O are,but if RDR O does as good as GTA O based on the online bullsh*t I'm officially losing hope in R*/Take Two to be consumer friendly ever again)

Sh*t like that is what ruins gaming.

Like I'm pretty sure all the content locked behind special editions is just content cut from the game.(are you really telling me you're creating A LIMITED AMMOUNT OF SIDE MISSIONS JUST FOR A DIFFERENT PACKAGE OF THE GAME?)

its 1 mission and a gang hideout ffs. People are acting like they are locking the ending behind a pay wall or some sh*t. Mind you most brought GTAV 2 to 3 times alone. The days of paying $60 and get everything is dead. if it was Ubish*t it would be 5 missions and a bonus ending locked behind editions.

I believe we will have sh*t loads of content regardless of the edition we buy, So take a pill and chill.

My criticism didn't originate from the idea that they are locking "a lot of content" behind a certain edition. It is more about the idea that people actually pay 30$ more for just a few in-game items. With 30$ you could buy some good games or a piece of clothing for you, just as an example.

EDIT: In the end, what I wanted to say, is that you actually pay a 100$ game, not a 60$ game. The times where invested gamers bought 60$ games are over. Nowadays Publishers supplement the rising costs of game development with 100$ Editions.

It's still them trying to sell you something that should probably be included in the 60$ game.

Agree with Ubisoft, they do that too.But they have been doing better recently, have been pumping out good-great games, frequently mind you.

It hurts specifically with R*,who seem to go down the hill(with Take/Two on it's back) after V,with all the bullsh*t they pull.

It's like having this really awesome uncle who would visit you very rarely, but when he did,he'd bring you the best presents ever.

Now he just doesn't really feel like he wants to come, and all his presents are fake.
