It's being made by a different team who have probably been working on it for a couple years already.

 

Fall is going to be fun for me. Spiderman in September, RDR2 in October, AC in late November possibly I can't see them releasing it too close to RDR2

@Zello Yeah Fall should be a lot of fun. My Goal this Fall is to let Spider-Man tie me over until late October, and then take my sweet time with RDR2 and just milk it dry until I have The Last of Us

Game of the Year/Generation is really subjective. Review sites might call their game of the year/generations but its more of a personal matter.

So I guess the rumor is true? That the next three games would go Egypt/Greece/Rome? Not sure when this is set. If its set in ancient Greece then its farther back in time compared to the Egypt setting (which BTW wasn't set in ancient Egypt)

The title Odyssey makes me think it will be like Black Flag, and that the game will be set around the Greek Islands with lots of sailing.

AC might launch in late/mid November for the holiday rush. But I think it would do them better to launch in Jan/Feb and own the first quarter of the year.

Notice the police department and the gallows for public hangings to the right ...  Maybe will be part of a mission or for random events?

I doubt AC is releasing this year.

 

They said they want to approach a minimun 2 years before next AC games after Origins.

 

I think a E3 reveal and a march 2019(fiscal year of Ubi) is the best case scenario,because if the game releases in this october it means the following:

 

1)After the well recieved praise for Origins(for the most part,and rightfully so,great game),they probably are going to push these games year after year,which is sad.

2)Too little of time will probably result in very similliar feeling to Origins.

3)The competition,especially with R*'s first Open-world game in 5 years is going to be crazy.

 

But I'd like them to prove me wrong,as they release it this october and it is actually great.

I know its not the right place for this (i dont know where to post it) but has anyone else also problems since they changed to the new design? Before when I clicked on a thread it brought me to the last site I stopped reading. Now it doesnt. Also the whole page seems slower to me.

Literally no one says this(apart from some people on this forum),that games have to be GOTY or GOTG.

 

And while certain aspects of games are rather ''subjective'' than ''objective'',like story,characters, some other aspects are important and up to critisism,performance,graphics,glitches etc. overall technical state.

I was hoping they wouldnt do AC like that again where they release a new one every year or so, but i guess thats dumb to not expect Ubisoft to do that. I'd also say im excited for Fallout 76 but we literally got nothing but a video of a busted out room and someone with a vault 76 jumpsuit on. Kotaku leaks say itll be an online game like Elder Scrolls Online? idk. If so that sounds like garbage. They need to just hand the next game off to Obsidian already. New Vegas is, and will continue to be, the best 3D fallout.

Fallout would've been a close second, but because of these online rumors, nothing is even close to RDR2 for me.

Well sh*t, the website seems much more stable today, I only have an iPad and it's been a royal clusterf*ck trying to get on here the last couple days I kept getting "a problem occurred while loading the site" errors

 

glad to see their still working out the kinks.

@Yelda nice find! I've always hoped we'd have some sort of "public hanging" random events that you could either chose to watch or intervene with. Maybe you hear the hangman read out what the man is accused of and then decide. I'd love that.
