I doubt R* would do a GI cover leading into E3 week, but I could be wrong.  In fact, I don't think we'll get a GI cover at all. 

I think we'll get some collectors edition information after E3 and more screenshots.  Dream scenario would be a date for the gameplay trailer in July/August.

I'm currently playing Sleeping Dogs. It's a pretty good game. Do you think RDR 2 will be better or is it too early to tell?

Better is a subjective term.  While I LOVED Sleeping Dogs, I have no doubt I'll enjoy  RDR2 much more as it's the sequel to my favorite game of the last console generation.

Sleeping dogs had a grate atmosphere but Red Dead 2 "once again" is going to be on a whole other level with it's size and impressive detail. We've seen so much in just trailers. Hard to believe we still got to wait this out till October. Keep forgeting though were going to get hit with more news around this month!! (June)

With the recent news of Fallout 76 being announced, I predict October is going to be a very busy month for games, RDR2, Black Ops 4, Battlefield 5, potentially Fallout 76.

I doubt we're actually going to see a GI cover for RDR2... ever. What it might be though, maybe it's Rocksteady's next game? Though i think it's more possible for that to be announced at E3. Same can be said about AC Odyssey. Origins merch was leaked early last year but the game itself was officially announced during Microsoft's conference.

Rockstar already confirmed the next piece of RDR2 info will be in June. They didn't say what day, or what kind of information, but we already know it will be June. I think if any developer has the balls to do it during E3, it would be Rockstar. Could be wrong of course, but I hope I'm right! 

What we know so far is that GI does have a cover reveal soon, and according to Andrew Reiner it is "very very very cool". Intriguing nonetheless.

It's a really good listen, not much we don't already know but it's still hella interesting and it's nice to hear someone who has seen the game actually talk about it at length without being rudely interrupted every five seconds

Its funny because Jared Petty (the host) also works for IGN and did the first trailer breakdown for IGN. Jared Petty is good sh*t though. Such a positive likable guy.

New trustworthy information suggests a brand-new Assassin's Creed game will be coming this holiday.

Some competition for Red Dead Redemption 2 ... but when is it going to get released? September? October? November?

Is it confirmed for this year? I feel like it'd be smart to get that early 2019 release to start the year off. Monster Hunter probably saw a lot of success this year since no other big games release in that time frame.

Assassins creed isnt red dead redemption 2 competition at all. If anything Ubish*t should stay as far away as possible. Lol people are just buying Ubisoft game for different environments at this point because the stories and gameplay aren't anything to write home about.

I really thought they were going to be taking a year off from AC after all the praise Origins got for getting an extra year but they could have had a different studio working on it like The AC Unity team. I just want Watch dogs 3.

Yeah I would love Watchdogs 3 for sure. I can't say that I'm very excited for a new AC game. I did enjoy Origins a lot, but I never think to myself "Wow, I would love a new AC game" ya know?..

I agree that AC isn't competition to RDR2 at all, but what game really is? Ubisoft made some decent games recently. Origins and Watchdogs 2 were both really fun games with dope stories. Ubisoft has so many different studios working on so many different games, so a lot of those games are bound to be ass. I did not like Far Cry 5 at all but mostly because it felt like sh*t to shoot a dude in the dome once and he survives. Tired of games with bullsh*t bullet sponges.

No/Maybe? Question kind of contradicts itself. 

 

In a generation that has seen the likes of The Witcher 3, BOTW, AC Origins, God of War etc....RDR2 has some big competition and then are others on the horizon after like The Last of Us part 2, Ghost of Tsushima and of course, Cyberpunk 2077. 

 

So who knows. We won't until October 26th.

Man I'm so tired of this GOTY and GOTG talk. I don't care what other people think of a game, as long as I enjoy it myself. Obviously it's nice to see your favorite games get praise from others but Video Games are art, and art is subjective. At the end of the day, we're all going to just argue about it and end up playing our preferred games anyway. I don't know why we can't just be like "I'm happy you like that game, but I personally liked this one more" rather than "How the f*ck can you like that game? Are you stupid? This game was way better"

I'm extremely obsessed with this game and those who say it's not the best makes me upset. I hope it gets perfect reviews from everyone. Hell I hope it will be better than that childish GTA 5 game!

If differentiating opinions will upset you, then your life will be full of disappointment. Your perspective on something isn't always going to be seen in the same way from everyone else. It's like being pissed that someone else doesn't like your favorite kind of pizza. Doesn't make sense lol.
