I will take GTA Vs driving over IVs any day of the week. sh*t was like driving a boat on ice, almost ruined the game for me

Driving in IV wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but once I wrapped my mind around cars having different weights I was able to pull off pro driving tricks easy.

 

But seriously f*ck flying helicopters in that game. Looking at you Buzzard mission.

Hey, this might not be anything big. But during trailer #3 just before closing up on john's stitched face, when they stab him in the back, you can clearly hear a groan similar to as when John got hurt in rdr1.

 

Giving me high hopes for the original voice actor.

I can't see any reason why John's original VA wouldn't return. He seems to be amicable with Rockstar, and he has two kids, more money would never be a bad thing.

You've got to love yourself a gameplay, it's one of those blessings... Sure we can have gameplay, and we can have the knowledge of gameplay, but with that, comes everything...

Playing Red Dead Redemption since 2010 again and again and again gives me hope that the 2nd installment will further distance itself from the GTA franchise. I see more and more differences every day and I hope to god Rockstar are doing this intentionally, because from what I've heard they're going down the super realistic route.. which is music to my ears! I must have played through the first one around 40 times now at least. I lost count around 25 playthroughs. This franchise is everything to me and it makes me happy to see that there are others who are this involved.

I don't give a sh*t about almost all other video games at this point, as there are less and less realistic ones being put out.

Still think the PS2 days were the best for games tbh, but thank Christ we still have Rockstar. I am still on the PS3 and proud of it, as nothing much interests me on this gen until RDR2 comes out obvs. Almost June now boys, it's on the horizon

Idk what conclusion was come to but at the end of trailer 3, the man who says "You have to love yourself a fire" is John Marston. Its so obvious. Anyone who knows Robs voice knows that is it.

There's gonna be a frustrating, Simeon-like Mexican mission giver, comes into the story for a while. After a few missions, Arthur's gonna want to shoot him in the back. His last name will be ... Rocaverde.

Do you guys think we will have companions in the game? To me it doesn't matter if it is like in GTAV where you could call a person and together you could go drinking or whatever. Or if it literally is an option to have one of the gang members follow you around at all times. As long as there is some type of companion system i'll be happy. I don't know it just felt lonely/boring at times in RDR1 traveling around and doing awesome sh*t, but no one is there to see it or give you some type of feedback.

 

I mean, i wouldn't mind going hunting in the dirty muddy woods with Javier. He'll probably complain about how his fancy suit jacket and vest is going to get dirty but i don't care, WE'RE GOIN' HUNTIN' GOD DAMMIT.

This drought may be the shortest, but its the hardest

We don't know yet. The drought we're in now could turn out to be the longest.

Indeed, a big windfall of $15K or $20K can go a long way.
