Just saw an hour of "days gone" on gameinformer, 2 things:

 

1) I wish rdr2 will get the same treatment, 1 hour gameplay and all kinds of interviews, on Video.

 

2) Days gone just sucks big time, "seen it done that" is written all over it, now i understand rockstar executives wanting to do something innovative, it's important nowadays.

1) No, thankfully - knowing R* - this will never happen. A gameplay series of 2-3 videos is enough for me.

2) Yes.

 

If there was a "First hour of RDR2" released I wouldn't want to watch it. It ruins the magic for me. However I would be happy if they did what they had done with RDR where they have gameplay series' to show little tidbits of what we will be able to do in the game. Two or three five minute videos showcasing off mission gameplay and stuff would be more than enough gameplay to keep me happy during the wait.

Just thinking on the possibilities in this game,i mean this is rockstar and it's 8 years in development.

There will be no game like this for a while, it will be ground breaking.

 

The graphics won't bother me as much as the physics, if i shoot someone and it won't look realistic, it will be such a hugh bummer for me, this is always the first thing i do in a rockstar game, red dead had the best physics when it comes to shooting, in my opinion, i hope for a better mechanics in that department, very important.

If they manage to make the story even more moving than rdr1 and fine tune it's shooting a bit + more fluid and responsive melee...no doubt this will be THE game of the last five years and perhaps five more years to come.

I wonder which role Arthur played regarding the possibility Marston split up the Dutch Gang. In some way I think he might have helped him, and ran away or got killed. Since we don't chase him in the first game

Yea more screens artwork or details, at least that's what I hope we get. I've watched the trailer a few times but these screens are my phone wallpaper, my computers screensaver, even my PS4 background.

I'm hoping for them too. Rockstar's artwork kinda gets me pumped up. They are simple yet contain elegance and beauty.

There is a possibility, but I wouldn't bet my money on E3. R* has been a no-show since GTA IV ( excepting remaster announcements)

We hear a guitar playing music quietly and see a dusty desert on screen. Suddenly, the music gets louder we are shown large revolvers on the screen. And then we see it, the thing we were thinking about for a few months now:

It's the double-edged sword of finally getting info. 1500+ page speculating, R* drops the bombshell, and we have a clear path to the release date. We know when we are getting more info, so all we can really do is wait.

Maybe its just me but i really don't like the talk about DLCs (long) before the games even has been released. I feel like this is happing to more and more games these days. I mean, shouldn't the focus be on the main game at this point?

 

However, I don't want to be negative. If we're getting one or more story DLCs I'd be really happy! Just let me have fun with the main game a few months first.

You guys are just fanboying. Not everyone loves RDR as much as we do. If you want RDR related news, follow someone who loves the game enough to care lol. Not all video game journalists care that much about RDR even though some regard it as the best game of all time. Remember that notion is not an objective fact. All art is subjective and people are allowed to have their opinions.

 

I personally dont think RDR is the best game of all time although I would put it in my top 3 for sure. Thats all a matter of opinion really. So dont expect everyone to have the same tastes and opinions as you because thats an unrealistic expectation. The world doesnt work like that.

 

Also remember that IGN is comprised of many journalists with varying opinions. Some are bad for sure. But there are many individuals who not only have personalities that people enjoy, but they know a lot about great games. The gaming industry is huge and even as huge as R* is, theyre only a small portion of the industry.

If they don't know anything about the game they shouldn't attempt to talk about it and make themselves look stupid in the process. They're getting paid to do what they do. How hard is it to at least do a little research before making a video about it and looking like a bunch of clowns? Jesus Christ it's not fanboying, it's called having sense

They did not compare Dutch to Tom Selleck, they knew he was the antagonist from the previous game, and they know that he committed suicide. So first of all, you guys are making false claims, and second of all: they got their jobs for a reason. If you dislike their coverage, then take their place or watch someone you enjoy.

How would you all feel if Marston gets Morgan in the end? Would it make you see John in a different light?

 

Think about it for a second people. Rockstar has some real mindf*ck material to work with.

 

And I'm sure with them paying so much attention to character development and interactions, they won't hold back.

E3 in three weeks, lets see what red dead 2 is up against, the only competitor in my opinion is cyberpunk 2077, this 2 games coming from great studios with reputation, skill and experience...
