But I have to ask - and it's not related to any of your finds - but why on earth is Edgar Ross even in this game?!

 

I mean, obviously nothing has been confirmed to say that is him but it's pretty hard to think anything other what with that moustache and stature. But are we really supposed to believe that he's been tracking the van der Linde gang for twelve years by the time of 1911? And that he met John Marston and the rest of the gang all those years ago? And neither he nor John said anything to indicate that in RDR??

 

The trailer at least suggests that the guy on the right will be the "main villain". So maybe Ross will just have a glorified cameo - showing up and rarely speaking like Edgar's own right-hand man in RDR. But when you (Rockstar) start making more connections than necessary between the two games I just feel that you end up making the scope of the story even narrower than it is, what with it already being a prequel and being bound to certain connections anyway.

 

 

Edgar Ross is to the main villain what Arthur is to Dutch. Two sides of a coin, one being the law the other being outlaws. Probably with outlaws not being all that bad and the law not being all that good.

Ok, well the first bit of info is regarding the returning firearm - the item on the right is what I believe to be the 'semi-automatic pistol'(C93 Borchardt) from RDR1.

 

 

 

 

Now the second thing, look at the badge on Edgar Ross is wearing.

 

 

 

Here are all the in-universe lawman badges that we know of:

 

 

 

Notice that it doesn't match a single one. Now we know that the Blackwater police force has been founded by 1899, as seen in Trailer 3, and presumably(following real history) the Bureau of Investigation has not. Now take a look at the actual Pinkerton Badges:

 

 

 

I'd say that Edgar's badge looks close enough to be a slightly fictionalized version of one of these, but obviously this is just my observation(I guess it's not really 'solid' evidence lol). Now regarding the Pinkerton group, I still believe there's a chance they might be the 'Cornwall' Detective Agency in RDR2. The Pinkerton's were often hired to guard trains, so that for me is one of the best possible explanations for the armored rail-cars with gun slots. The Cornwall advertisement on the streetcar during the robbery scene in Trailer 3 also adds credence to this, as the Pinkerton Agency would often put ads in newspapers and such.

 

The Cornwall crest/emblem:

 

 

 

Now why would an industrial company(kerosene and tar) have a coat of arms, as well as private armored rail-cars? To me, this all points to a military/security force, such as the Pinkerton Detective Agency.

 

Again, this is just my theory, I could very well be wrong. Thoughts?

Not sure if that's the one he uses, but I did find that connection a bit interesting. Dutch despises this 'civilization' that our new antagonist likely represents, but then later on uses the very same advanced modern firearm as him during his final days.

The only titles that have been confirmed are TLOU II, Death Stranding, Spiderman and Ghosts of Tsushima. Personally I don't trust these type of leaks before E3, because it happens every year lol

V sold (shipped?) 95 million copies

More GTAO dlc coming

2k's 'highly anticipated title' (borderlands 3?) is moved to next fiscal year

No games will be unveiled at E3, T2 is just there for business reasons

Was it mentioned in any of the articles if the map/game world will be explorable from the start?

 

From hearing that the railroad will gradually be built throughout the game, and the law being after the gang. I feel like they might make you stay in certain areas/sections for a time. Or, you can go anywhere but with possible high danger.
