Hey guys what if at the end of rdr2 it does a jump to 1911 right after John dies and Arthur finds out and visits jack and starts training him to make up for the events that happened to john. It could make sense considering jack was able to get his skills so shortly, i mean someone had to train him.

Could be interesting. Like Arthur comes back from south America. Finds out what happened and explains to Jack what kind of man his father was, and trains him.

 

But I feel that Jack trained himself for his moment with Edgar.

 

They could fill in what happened between 1911 and 1914. Maybe Jack goes to South America to find Arthur.

Ehh idk that sounds very out of jacks character I mean he spent most of his life on beechers hope. Also just being curious why is everyone so hung up on visiting South America, what events do you guys think will happen if they head down there.

That island will be for the Westworld mission, and you can't visit it except in that mission, which will consist of a linear series of gunfights interspersed with cutscenes which determine the exact sequence of the mission.

i haven't played red dead in awhile but i have a question. In the beginning of the first game was John coming from prison? When he meets Bonnie for the first time after being shot by Bill on Fort Mercer he mentions that he was a little bit out of practice, and after killing Dutch, Edgar mentions that Abigail was killed in a prison riot, when he finally returns to Abigail for the first time she mentions that instead of a prison they kept her on a cooking school. is it safe to assume that a part of the gang possibly Arthur will be arrested at some point during the story?

If they're gonna make horses way more important, and do horse perma-death, and all that, then they need to make it impossible to shoot your own horse in the head while riding it!

I think after we play for a while, get used to system we can turn off the response button options. I dont think they will make the interaction system where it will take away from the immersion.

 

But I am a little concerned... or more so curious to how they will implement it, so its more of a feature you forget about but you use it in motion if that makes sense

Is it most likely that Arthur dies at the end? I think having the protagonist die is getting abit old now but then well wonder where he is during RDR1.

 

Obviously he could just move somewhere far away.

I think we got spoiled with tooo much info all at once. Lol. We were like crack addicts waiting for our next hit, and R* got a big ass needle and injected us right up the ass with it.

 

The high has worn off but the addiction will come back... not that I know from experience or anything.. . DONT DO DRUGS.. just weed. Like the weed cookies we sell on the hype train.

 

We will all turn into Greenrock, a little bit of crack, a smack and Greenrocks back!

 

Side note: Anyone listen to the new Royce Da 5 9 album. Cocain is fffffff.

I DO think there will be animals... im just f ing around.

 

I believe so, but its hard to tell what they will do with online, if they will allow it to be like the main game or downgrade it like online with GTA, where not as many npcs and liveliness.

I'd love to be sitting in a saloon playing poker as I watch the piano man walk over to the piano crack his knuckles and start playing that iconic "dun dun duh duh dun" from max Payne. I even think it would fit the world quite nicely. Not too out of place.

 

Hell even max played it on piano as an Easter egg in 3. Maybe we'll just see Arthur and Dutch in a scene where while in an empty saloon Dutch sits by the piano and says to Arthur, "ya know I was quite fond of the piano as a boy, even wrote a bit of music, shame I never stuck with it." While taping the keys with his index finger.

 

I'd love a bit of crossover even though it's highly unlikely.

I was just thinking to myself earlier, all those poor f*ckers that years from now for whatever reason they come to this thread to read about the game, and there's like 2500 pages of nonsense before the release date even comes around and you can actually read what people are were/are saying about the game.

 

I mean yeah you could always skip to the last page, but that's not the point I'm trying to make here.

 

Btw, everytime I see your signature I smile, that was my favorite part of the trailer. I'm strangely way to excited just to see night time in this game.

Is there a possibility that Arthur is still alive after the events of the first game and he is the one that taught Jack Marston how to be a gunslinger to avenge John? It never explained how Jack got so good with no prior experience, did it?
