Yes. We're still tinkering with ideas backstage and have been for a while now. If it opens we'll announce it.

 

We also need a special posse only for this forum for RDR2 on PSN and Xbox Live! I really can't wait playing with some of you guys and shooting up rival gans from reddit and resetera lol

 

We have plans for multiplayer related stuff too here on the forum once we get details about it.

Just out of curiosity, on which TV will you be playing?

So will there be rival outlaw gangs that you will be going up against or is it just the law with the testicle face looking dude? There is certainly going to be more to the narrative than just them running from the law. Internal conflict most likely, considering what we know about the fall of the gang, however I don't see how that translates to missions and gameplay. They can make it into like a drama show, tune in tomorrow and see how Arthur turns down Pearson and Pearson sulks at the campfire that night!

 

Maybe we are just robbing and stealing the whole game which is cool but I think side missions will be vastly different from what we think of side missions to be. I think they will act more like main missions maybe. Like in RDR, with the whole Mexican revolution storyline, It was interwoven as main missions but was kind of annoying as main missions, seemed like side missions IMO, but it made sense why.

 

My guess is that there will be a rival gang or multiple rival gangs, but I don't really know what they will compete for.. who gets to rob the bank first..? Its not the 80's in south central LA where they will be fighting over turf I don't think! LOL Maybe that explains why they will not always be as much heat on the gang, as the law if chasing others down as well.

Knock it off, you forget Rockstargames made manhunt, 3 of them. Rdr executions were horrible and lackluster.

 

Who tf care about fornite or far cry? Both TERRIBLE games.

After seeing what the One X- and Pro-Versions have done in the past, you will likely see only a boost in resolution and general graphics quality and a more stable framerate, but nothing more. The difference I can see between the Pro and One X is that the Xbox will provide clearer visuals and a more stable framerate, but overall the game will look fantastic on all systems, even on the base Xbox One, given the beautiful trailers were captured on a standard PS4.

Was literally going to say the same, Manhunt 2 was banned in certain European countries, so I’m sure Rockstar aren’t afraid of a little gory execution, and as always in Rockstar fashion, a little controversy.

That's good, as I'm playing on an older PS4. Would be quite cross if I had to shell out another 300 dollars just to get the best gameplay experience. The trailer looks fine, and I am happy with how it looks graphically.

Personally I like playstation better but I play xbox cause that's where my friends are lol.

But I like both systems equally

But if you have ps4 get it for that you will get exclusive and or online content 1st

Now imagine you have an infinite amount of money. Then get a PS4 Pro and an Xbox One X and play the Singleplayer on the Xbox and the Multiplayer on the PS4.

 

If you are talking about the base consoles, I would recommend the PS4. If you are talking about the upgrades, I would recommend the One X, since getting select items later for RDO isn't a big deal. At least in my humble opinion^^

 

EDIT: You will obviously have the best experience on the Xbox One X. The only question is: Will it be native 4K and will it really be a big difference compared to the PS4 Pro?

Yeah, me too. I’ve been holding out on buying an Xbox One X until I move house, which is happening sometime this summer. I’ve already got my 4K TV which I bought last year. I’m definitely getting an Xbox One X before the big release day.

The more important thing to consider though is what console will bring the most value to you, personally. Don't buy a new console for ONE game just because it might have provide a better experience. No doubt the Xbox is more powerful, but there's a reason that the "Xbox has no games" meme exists. I'm probably going to be upgrading to a PS4 Pro, but that's only because I was already planning to eventually and already own several games on the system.

All of the people you see on this image are going to be the 7 major support characters in game. They belong to Dutch's gang but they do not serve as henchmen just as handymen.



This guy is the camps doctor. He heals you if needed and is going to do health consumables (medicine, horse pills...) for you if you bring him plants or certain animal body parts. In fact, Bringing him plants is going to substitute the Survivalist challenge from RDR1.



This woman is a horse whisperer. If you do certain side activities to her she'll teach you how to have a stronger bond with your horse and she'll offer you certain horse related items like apples, an horse comb, saddles that can carry more weight or horse blinkers. She can also offer you rare horse breeds if you do most of her side quests.



This woman is a spy master. Doing her side quests earns you Stealth meter. You can unlock certain "distraction" skills by doing her side quests like whistling to call an unsuspecting enemy (much like in Mafia 3) or having one of the camp's ladies seduce an enemy so that you can get inside places silently.



This is Uncle. He's the gangs armorer. You can buy guns and bullets from him and he can also imrpove the guns you already own. Through certain side quests he may offer you special guns. His side quests involve sharpshooting activities that are going to substitue the sharpshooter challenges from RDR1.



This guy, possibly named Micah Bell, is the Hunting & Fishing Master. You can get hunting and fishing supplies from him like fishing bait, fishing rods and nets, hunting bait, camouflage, all sorts of decoys (example: mallard duck hunting whistle) and the dreaded Buffalo Riffle. His side quests are about hunting particular species, including legendary animals much like the higher levels of the Red Dead Redemption hunting challenge. For that reason, his side quests substitute the Hunting challenges from RDR1.



This is Pearson. He's the camp's cook. His side missions simply consist of bringing him game and fish on a regular basis. Doing this earns you health meter and a few other occasional rewards like money and cooked food.



This woman is Lennie's wife. She's the gang's seamstress and hairdresser. You can buy outfits from her or have them tailored if you bring her pelts from animals you skinned. Her side quets consists of bringing her specific animal pelts.




Or maybe... i'm completly wrong, after all what i just posted is complete speculation, completly pulled outta my ass . But i found it interesting that there's a shot of these specific guys on a brief moment on trailer 3 so i though these guys could potentially have a greater role in game than meets the eye. And they don't look like average outlaws. What are your thoughts?
