I wonder if Arthur will get his own version of the "Legend of the West" outfit.

I loved that outfit in the first game.

I'm guessing there'll only be one more 'official' trailer for RDR2 and that'll be the launch trailer in October.

However I believe they'll make a short gameplay series again alà the RDR1, Max Payne 3 or L.A. Noire one with 2-3 videos showcasing in depth on what improvements they made for their first real next-gen game ... Weapons | World | AI and Physics ... or something along the lines.

June

Third Gameplay Video + Hands-On Previews + New Screenshots + Artworks

December

Red Dead Online Launch

I can see everything panning out as you mentioned above but the multiplayer component (Red Dead Online) dropping two months after release!? I find that highly unlikely in my opinion. I just can't picture that scenario.

It's 1 month though ... RDR2 releases at the end of October, Red Dead Online should release early December or late November.

I personally really hope it is one month (more time for Single-Player) but it will probably go live November 7th or 10th.

Maybe they could go the same route they did with GTA Online? It dropped two weeks after V dropped. We'll find out though. I guess in this case we can't really say yes or no. Regardless, when Red Dead Online does drop it's gonna feel good to have the trusty old Bolt Action Rifle back in the hands. Edited by TheOriginalGunslinger

We don't even have any details regarding the online component for Red Dead Redemption II yet. I'm all done speculating lol. Honestly, the last week with Trailer #3, new screenshots, previews so-far, I'm good for another month tbh when Rockstar drops more stuff. It's the Road to E3 now! Pumped to see other games within a month time.

I'm going to be joining online waaaaaay late. The open world is never as detailed online as it is in SP, so I want to explore every inch of that world and get my fill before I decide to go online.

We don't know what approach Rockstar is taking with Red Dead Online though.

Now they have way less technical restrictions, and we might actually see an immersive Online world as well.

I'm really learning that every medium of art has different types of fans. People who appreciate video games for the fun like the multiplayer, and game play more. People who appreciate video games for the art tend to like the story-telling, world-building and little details more. Then with music, people who appreciate it for the fun will like more upbeat and meaningless songs and so on. Pretty interesting. Must be difficult for devs to cater to each demographic and strike the right balance.

Has anybody noticed that Javier seems to copy Dutch the way he dresses? (I know he could have been known to dress that way back in 1899 but it feels like something in a way). Like his style and flair so to speak? Another thing that struck me is when replaying Red Dead Redemption (specifically the mission, "The Gates of El Presidio) John mentions that him (Javier) and Dutch went crazy but he doesn't bring up Bill in this instance going crazy. It then struck me that maybe Javier did copy Dutch in every way from dressing nicely (that we see in screenshots from Red Dead Redemption II) to even to going crazy with him as well. I can't wait to see how Javier and Dutch interact with each other in the upcoming game.

Just watching the All Systems On Display video from IGN, they said Arthur can challenge people to a duel, didn't see that mentioned before!

Sounds better than having to wait for people to challenge you!😀

Javier did look up to Dutch and basically idolize him. I'm sure it's on purpose.

Why in the previews no one asked about gore in the game? Someone mentioned vultures will eat corpses, if there is no gore, it will look ridiculous, what do you think?

Yeah I thought this as well..

I couldn't find anything on this topic nor physics.

That being I'm still very curious..

But personally RDR was gory for the engine they used 8 years ago

So I assume this game will be pretty violent and gory. And I'm sure the physics will definitely feel good and like RDR/westerns.

When a npc gets hit by a bullet it should look and feel like it packs a punch.. in one of the screenshots you can see Arthur had just shot a dude and there is blood all over the floor..

They said when you shoot a deer in like the shoulder it will fall then get up and limp away with a trail of blood behind it, it also crys out

I would think something similar with people ( shoot a guy in the leg and yells "ah hell.. son of a bitch shot me" lol and he trys getting up and limping away.

I expect some deaths to be realistic and some comical.. (when people fall of ledges.. you sometime will hear the Wilhelm scream lol.

Anyways those are my thoughts.

I would love to hear what all of you think.

Looking forward to the mysteries of RDR2. Almost every rockstar game has them, intentional or not. Although 95% of them turn out to be a stretch or a hoax, I find them mostly enjoyable to watch or discover.

GTA Online is clearly not as diverse and rich of an open world as the campaign. Just look at the lack of cars and peds and same-y weather effects. You don't even have cops chasing NPC's as they do in SP. Not even any animals. I understand why it had to be done but it's
still a shame.

I don't get it. I thought Days Gone is a 2019 game, Does it require a coverage right now?

No game requires coverage at all. There's no restrictions on when a game can get coverage.

Yes. We're still tinkering with ideas backstage and have been for a while now. If it opens we'll announce it.
