Man, comparing Javier in RDR II to Javier in RDR is hilarious to me. The man did not age well, he looks like sh*t in 1911.

Probably my favorite shot, gangs in full force. Cant wait to see how Dutch went from leading a powerful gang and looking like a true leader to a crazed mad man who lost faith in everybody and himself, almost looks unrecognizable in RDR .

There was a guy on Reddit several months ago supposedly leaking Red Dead info, this was the message he sent me... not sure how much to believe of it:

 

"Lets see what I remember...

 

You play a gang leader named Arthur. The biggest change made to the game is you have a posse. If I remember correctly, the story kind of starts when you find out someone in your outlaw gang is a pinkerton spy. The pinkertons end up having you on the run through most of the game. You acquire lots of members of your gang such as abigal, little jack, marsten, and others. The core mechanic of the game is having to maintain and continuously move your outlaw camp. When you go on a mission you will choose who to take with you, similar to mass effect or dragon age. The game spans five zones. A directive they keep getting is to make the environments more interactive like skyrim. Whatever that means.

 

There is kind of a game plus like like the last one had. You end up at beechers hope and switch control to Jon marsten. The are then lots of quests etc dealing with building up your ranch. You literally will do x And Z to build a gazebo. I heard someone designed a mini game where you help a mare give birth that had people laughing.

 

The last I heard, which was a few months ago, the game was kind of stuck in development hell of sorts. Then team kept remaking a vertical slice demo for the leaders of rockstar and they aren't impressed... They didn't find it different enough or innovative enough. Hopefully they got out of that rut.

 

I've also heard that since gta5 morale at rockstar SD had been bad. Long timers are quitting. Lots of turnover. Lots of frustration.

If Max Payne 3 was the first game that use the Rockstar Studios "collaborative" banner then come GTA V developed by one- North and help from the other 8 (R* India was founded in 2016) I think RDR 2 will be the first game were we say Rockstar Games is Disney-Marvel of video games.

 

NikosUncle: 5 times lol. Everything about that game cannot be overtaken by another GTA or non-Rockstar open world games. Plus the Gold/Silver/Bronze challenges for SP (yeah TBoGT had that first) was addictive. Tbh I don't see why people are crying for single player expansion or dlcs. I hope the Character switching system returns in a future Rockstar Games' Title.

So Rockstar Games' development strategy with it 9 studios:

 

* Mega project: Rockstar Studios

 

* New IP: each of the 9 Studios

 

* Online, DLCs etc: all 9 Studios

 

TIL: Rockstar New England only became part of Rockstar Games in 2008.

 

 

Dee.: Haha same mate. I think Max Payne will be a big hit if it done as Battle Royale. Max Payne 4: The Royale (sounds cool).

Do you think that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be better than them? What is your feeling? I hope that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be the best game for a long time despite more advanced games coming out in the future.

I have high hopes for Cyberpunk and Im really curious. I also really love the idea of a new quality RPG from Bethesda. Although Im pretty sure that RDR2 will be my favorite of the 3. Regardless, I am just going to be happy that games are insane these days.

It's an old leak but if true contains endgame spoilers.

 

Yea it was discussed but it kinda got lost in the preview frenzy. It got way too many details right to be dismissed now and even the thing about choosing what gang members to take on missions being wrong was actually answered in an interview that said they toyed with the idea but ended up going with Rockstar-picked gang members. The timing of that leak means it's easy to see them changing their mind about that sometime between then and now, it's entirely possible that they changed their minds on other things in the leak too.

 

When is a leak, not a leak?

ok, since the 2 pages before this one were about Sadie...

i know one thing for sure.

when RDR 2 is released for PC, i will say it takes like 3 months for the OpenIV team to get access to the files and be able to edit them.

and then i think it will take like 2 weeks and we have a Sadie nude patch.

of course i wouldn´t install it...

and of course you wouldn't pm me nude Sadie images that would be wrong...
