As someone that never finished the first game I hope it does not affect my experience with the prequel/sequel. Well I got half way and got to Mexico. My Neighbor's child in my old house borrowed the game and never gave it back.

Hop on it bro! You got ~6 months to play through it again. Definitely worth it.

im surprised you even care about Rdr2 if you didnt even bother finishing the first one.

He owns shares in take two so he cares very deeply about RDR2still not enough to finish RDR1 though. Not a true Harry Potter fan if you ask me.

From what I've seen from Arthur Morgan so far he comes off as the most badass main protagonist Rockstar have made. A strong built 6"2 man who can put a damn deer on his shoulder is something I'm looking forward to playing as. I'm still dissapointed in the lack of Native American attention in the game. Really hope they play a larger role than in RDR 1.

The fact that Arthur can dead lift a large deer like that, makes me believe that he will in fact be the only character that we can play as in this game. It'd be strange having to switch to John who is clearly much smaller and seems not to be near as strong and then having a whole new animation/mechanic for propping the deer onto your horse. If they allow John to do it the same way Arthur does it, then it kind of undermines the excitement behind Arthur's strength. Also, as much as I love John, I really hope we remain playing as Arthur or at least have the option like at the end of GTAV. I just think he is shaping up to be one of the best (new) game protagonists we have seen in a long time. I'd hate to lose the ability to control him.

I would say Niko Bellic from GTA IV comes close, but Arthur knocks him off the top spot for me.

Rockstar Studios is not a legal entity just a unification banner for their 9 studios with 1,500 developers across 3-4 continent. However I think Rockstar Studios could become a legal entity in future after Rockstar Games becomes an independent publicly traded company.

The Housers will be crazy rich since the were the founders of the subsidiary that not only Take-Two's crown jewel but the New York company's bread and butter. A Split between both will be sad and great like Fiat and Ferrari.

 

Rockstar Games want to focus on gaming while Take-Two want to focus on Media and Entertainment so both will be customers to each other from day one of a split.

Hands down! I wouldn't want to play as john again under no circumstances. I appreciate R* not keeping the same protagonist regardless of sequel or prequel. Arthur hasn't even shown anything charcter wise and already has a fanbase. Thats how i feel with the bolwer hat guy (the antagonist). I know nothing about him, its just his demeanor and how his character look that i gravitate to. For the next Red dead i have to play as Micheal bell. Just because he reminds me of Charlie Prince in 3:10 to Yuma.
