Also I'm really digging how much the Schofield pistol shows up in this game. I always killed Dutch with it in RDR 1, and one of the first guns I bought was a Schofield a number of years ago. Seeing Dutch armed with them now makes me feel like there was some sort of karmic justice to using it on Dutch.

As someone that never finished the first game I hope it does not affect my experience with the prequel/sequel. Well I got half way and got to Mexico. My Neighbor's child in my old house borrowed the game and never gave it back.

Maybe it'll be like Ben Hur with a time skip and Arthur will be watching John at certain points of the RDR1 story if that makes sense.

I think Uncle may ending up being one of my sleeper favorite characters, he was hilarious in the first game

I've alway been super curious about uncle myself.

Even though he was a lazy drunk he was quite interesting.

Seemed like a cynical realist.

 

I always wondered how he ended up living with John. Who seemed to have a major distaste for the man.

Coupled with the fact he wanted to leave his gang past behind him so why have a living reminder bunk in your barn?

 

I can't wait to see what kind of relationship he had with the gang, and being that he probably gets on everyone's nerves he must have some kind of use for them to keep him around. I can't wait to see what that might be. It sure as hell isn't keeping the camp stocked in liquor.

In A Continual Feast, Uncle tells John that it was a shame he killed Bill and Dutch, as he and them were friends. To which John argues that they only kept him around as a joke.

John must have forgot how to duel wield guns after he left the gang.

Was it ever confirmed that John was blind in his left eye? If it was caused by an injury sometime in RDR 2 (or after), maybe he lost his duel wielding skills and didn't bother keeping a revolver on his left side. Just a theory.

Idk if anyone already said that, but seeing this picture of John, he looks older than in the other screenshots (more similar to RDR). So maybe during the story, we will actually go through the years

I'm starting to believe the leak saying we play as john, and it looks like it will be a time skip to 1906 since john looks to have aged about right from his younger model. I think the gang will be forced to seperate for a time and John will support Sadie while Arthur isn't around, giving Arthur more reason to help John and his family later on. Anyone notice young John looking alot like Jack in 1914?
