Is anybody hoping we can rifle butt someone in the face instead of shooting them? Maybe a quick rifle jab to their gut and they drop to their knees in agony holding it.

 

"Just take it, take it" the poor sap would say and you could rob the poor fellow right then and there.

 

Also, should "looting a body" make a return? I would hate if they went the GTA route with money just laying on the ground.

guaranteed you can loot people after killing them. You can pick up a lot of things in RDR2 and looting that way was a RDR1 thing. Bet it will stay:) and the rifle butt i bet theyll have that too much like pistol whipping (they showed in trailer 2 a bit) also bet executions will be back

That background person's arm looks too long for a kid, IMO.

 

Little clearer picture, it does look like the alleged kid's arm is a bit longer., though he's definitely grabbing onto something, and the woman sitting on the chair is looking at him.

Maybe, but a classic Henry rifle ejects from the top. But the company does make side ejecting rifles now. But I'm not sure they did 100+ years ago.

Yeah must be. John had a daughter who died, maybe we'll see this sad moment.

She died at birth I believe!

Maybe, but its assumed that John's daughter was born after 1906. Maybe Abigail gets pregnant again and this forces John to do 'one last job' which ends with him getting left for dead. Or perhaps Dutch figured John's heart wasn't in it anymore and shot him. Leaving him as the fall guy.

OR

Maybe John tries to set up the gang to get caught, and f*cks that up and gets left?

 

We'll find out, unless the game cuts out before 1906.

This was pretty much known before. The failed heist takes place in 1906. Game starts in 1899.

Also I'm really digging how much the Schofield pistol shows up in this game. I always killed Dutch with it in RDR 1, and one of the first guns I bought was a Schofield a number of years ago. Seeing Dutch armed with them now makes me feel like there was some sort of karmic justice to using it on Dutch.

When you are the most beloved game company in the world (another reason for a corporate spin-off from parent company Take-Two) I think they have to spread them everywhere. I remember before GTA V release they did the same thing. 31 million followers is just insane!

You don't kill Dutch in RDR 1.

Being able to gun butt someone in the gut and rob them on their knees would be amazing

He's already dead at that point. It's an important distinction, I'm not just being pedantic. John would not have shot Dutch himself.

I just noticed/thought of something.. unlike john, arthur has not been wearing gloves in any shots except for the new one aside bill williamson.. even more customization confirmed? They showed the beard, now that shot arthur wears gloves, we know if you lose your hat you have to find it or buy a new one... makes sense
