Guys, next week, gi cover, i don't think it's gonna be tomb raider, everybody else did previews, gi should be something unique and special...

Yeah, i said the same thing. What are the chances of it being RDR2 though?

 

I can't think of anything else it could be if not Tomb Raider.

GI don't limit them selves to just the biggest games of the year, it could easily be something you didn't expect.

I was sure the next GI cover story would be Shadow of the Tomb Raider but after today I'm not so sure anymore.

Instead I'm still almost 100% sure it won't be RDR2 either but some other game ... probably an unannounced one.

We shall see ... I don't really see anything RDR2 related coming our way next week at all, it's so depressing but there's GTA Online stuff on Tuesday and I think they might milk the rest of the week with Online content and snapmatic contests too. It's such a shame.

I dont think GI are doing covers for games that are unannounced especially not any AAA. When has GI done a cover for a game that the dev or publisher didn't release any info prior? With TR they have released the entire road map of marketing from gamescom to dlc to e3. The only thing missing is a GI cover. Looking at the road map with something lined up every month almost, a GI cover could take place at anytime during imo. Im not going to jump out a window and say the next GI is RDR2 either tho as bad as i may want it to be. We just have to wait and see..The investors conference is the 16th lets see what happens by then.

Shadow of Mordor, Arkham Origins and Arkham Knight are all examples of games that were announced without any prior teases with a GI Cover. Pretty sure there are more but i don't remember all of them right now.

I think the reason we're not getting news is because a remastered RDR came out for Xbox and R* probably thought 'I think this will keep them going'.

Don't even get your hopes up for next week ... it'll be just another GTA Online focused sh*tshow out of way too many in the past four and a half years. Noone's to blame if he had several nightmares from GTA Online by now, I mean it's a surefire recipe if you get reminded of this thing on a daily basis. :/

 

If someone wants to join me ... I'm off for the next couple of weeks. We won't miss anything (other than even more GTA Online news).

Agreed. It's just clogging up the forum at this point. It happened, it sucks and no one is going to explain/take responsibility for it. Lets just leave it and move on.
