If some remember ... it was me who said that if there isn't news coming this week (week from April 16 - 22) it'll be May instead of this week ... strangely I'm now left disappointed though.

On top of no RDR2 news, the fact that they did not even mention or celebrate GTA IV in as little as a tweet instead is surprising to me, not to mention the sh*tshow they did to Vladivostok FM and all these cut songs in general. I mean GTA IV without Schweine is not the same, they cut the most iconic song of entire GTA IV. How dare you!

They were f*cking fed up with the RDR 2 drought. Took matters into their own hands to speed up the process.

Like what i see is a lot of goi ng to the worst case scenario (which again i get, im not saying its bad) im really just wondering like, think of different perspectives. Imagine this for a minute, the game is not in development hell, nor do rockstar just not care anymore... they are working extensively on RDR2 already behind the scenes cause they want it to be really good and are trying hard to not explain misinformation. That could be why they are so quiet too... alao imagine if TT is the one callin the shots here with how they treat GTA online while nothing is finished but only RDR2 in pipeline?

 

Or because they had may planned all along as when they come out of the dark. I know what everyone is saying, but do you get what i mean? This is very much a possibility just as dev hell can be. I just dont think anyone thought of it this way, or at least didnt mention it. (Im a positive and optimistic person at heart so i mean yeah)

We'll just have to wait and see. I really hope something comes soon and it reassures a release in October, but anything can happen at this point.

GTA Online is the ultimate disgrace. The tombstone for a brilliant software house that once was Rockstar Games. And was "invented" by the man that now is fired and sued the company lol

You can also view it in the light of gta online allowing them even more time and money to fuel their development of future single player experiences.

 

We all know that's not true at all. Back on old gen, we had almost one game from R* each year. Now they're milking GTAO and we have nothing from 5 years now. And when they announced RDR2, they put us straight saying it will feature a strong online component. So I think they've changed because they found golden eggs with online gaming

They also said it'll be a tale about the harsh american heartland. They can have a great story and sh*tty online that they can milk in one package. Also RDR2 might be the biggest undertaking for them since they mentioned both rockstar north and sandiago as the major devs for the game.

Imagine if the investors call meeting arrives and all they will say is "developing is going great, can't wait to share more information with you when it's due time"

Luckily that's not how those things work. Those guys will want to know real information. Let's hope things are going great and that by then we've already had a significant update on sh*t too. Doubtful though.

Whoever runs GTANet (probably Kirsty) posted that with no follow up after a month. It was most likely nothing but what was the motive? Idk. The mods are dodging the important questions like neo dodges bullets
