This reminds me of the great GTAV drought, it got so bad to a point where Rockstar had to address it in their Asked and Answered segments and basically said shut the f*ck up you ingrates you think this sh*t is a joke

I don't think May is our last chance of getting Red Dead 2 news. This may be an unpopular opinion, but I think June is our last chance of hope. June still gives R* 4 months of marketing. If I remember correctly, R* has typically marketed 4-6 months before release, so it is possible that we may not hear any news until June. I think there is a good chance of hearing something in May though considering they have an investor call in mid-May and with previous calls, we have received information. Plus, May will mark 8 years since Red Dead Redemption's release and maybe they will do something special for us on the anniversary.

 

We NEED information soon though. The waiting and silence is beyond irritating. I know I am not the only one growing more frustrated week after week of seeing GTA:O posts. My excitement for this game is dwindling fast honestly. I love Red Dead and I was so excited when it was first announced, but it has been nearly two years since it was announced and we know hardly anything. My interest has dissipated and I am just annoyed more than anything. I know when information is given, my interest and excitement will return but their marketing strategy could cost them. I have seen a lot of people on here and social media complaining and showing their disinterest so R* really needs to get going.

Lets face the facts, alright? If we dont get anything in May then we can expect a delay. Might be minor might be major. And we can then presume that the development on this game thus far has been a complete sh*tshow and absolute hell for the devs.

Nah, may 16 or a few days before that will be very telling. Something is definitely going to be said about the game and in what state it is in.

Would not rule it out, but I don´t think that´s the only possible conclusion.

 

You know in some regards marketing has started.

 

We have 2 trailers and some screens - for some games that´s all you´re gonna get.

 

You can pre-order the game on Amazon and the word is out there - what more would R* want at this time?

 

It simply strikes me as too soon for the final push.

 

And e3 is kind of in the way, too.

The fact that they needed to delay it twice for "polish" and have said little suggests it is in development hell if you ask me and I think a lot of us agree. Or they are still trying to milk GTA:O which seems very likely. But I wouldn't completely right off June. It is a bit of a stretch, but there is a possibility. But don't get your hopes up. At this point, nothing is coming and we won't see any news until 2050.
