What an absolute joke, this week had so much potential and yet they still update with crappy gtao updates, I will not be surprised in the slightest if they delay to 2019. Rockstar is just unpredictable.

If I was R* I´d let e3 pass by, let all the hype for the newly announced games settle a bit and wait for *MY* moment.

 

I´m betting on a pretty intense 3 months marketing push that will probably be kicked off by GameInformer.

 

I don´t see RDR2 being on the next GI cover though. And the one after that will probably be e3 themed in some shape or form.

Maybe there's a chance it'll actually be at E3, though I doubt it.

 

Always a chance, but R* hate sharing the spotlight.

 

GTA V Remaster was an exception - but also not a new game.

Thats what people were saying regarding the PC version of GTAV when it got delayed like 3 times. People clamed they'd pirate or not buy it etc. But the moment we see gameplay and more info we'll be riding the hype train all the way to release.

Traditionally GI's E3 cover is the August issue, not the July. Still two potential issues there that could be RDR2. Could being the key word of course.

I can buy into the short but intense marketing theory to be honest. We've gotten what? 3-4 months to the suspected release twice now? Both times delayed of course, but shows that they're pretty f*cking hesitant to blow their load early. On the flip side it could be that they knew the delay was coming both times but that's probably a bit too cynical.

We all know that's not true at all. Back on old gen, we had almost one game from R* each year. Now they're milking GTAO and we have nothing from 5 years now. And when they announced RDR2, they put us straight saying it will feature a strong online component. So I think they've changed because they found golden eggs with online gaming

It's so f*cking sad that all we can look forward to now is something in the coming two weeks. It'll likely include some new bullshots and very likely the announcement of another delay with yet another lame f*cking excuse. I'm about done with this company and the cancer called GTAO. They definitely deserve more flack from press too, call out that greedy bullsh*t called the GTA V Premium Edition. And the person behind the Newswire should learn to quit with the false promises. All in all its a rather sh*tty way to treat your customers. If you're not gonna be posting anything on the goddamn game, then don't say it.
