Oh look not a dang thing as I expected. Meanwhile twiddledcok Scotsman got riddles for days that dont mean a thing, and admins here playing along . Real cute. Just gonna be ignoring them all now . Odd this happened not long after the Pinkerton thing where a seemingly big deal was made about not acting like something is coming without proof. Maybe I just misread all that and its cool.

I think the difference is that Pinkerton was clear about a date. The mods/admins didn't confirm anything. In fact if you read back, it is purely a bunch of idiots creating hype out of nonsense.

Knowing how desperate everyone is for news right now, the right thing to have done is said - look guys we really dont know anything (or more than you know. Please stop taking all these random, vague things said and ignore them. As well as lock the usher hall Thread since there is no real eveidenxe and all it has done is add to the issue . But they knew by not locking it added to peoples hope.

 

Look I get it, they want more clicks. Cool. But in the process have also lost my trust in anything they say at this point. Admins should be held to a even higher standard that regular users.

 

I just feel like this is a video game, and the ethics and morals surrounding running a forum shouldn't be held to such a high standard because in the end it's really not that important. Like when did this forum turn into a philosophy class about the morals and ethics of a GTAF admin lmao. People will forget and move on once info actually drops. f*ck it.

Yeah.. You should pretty much let people say anything.. As long as they're not causing harm lol. Do you want to have control over people's freedom of speech?

 

Sorry, I just read that incorrectly. As for the banning - Admins didn't give a concrete date or confirmation of anything. Still agree with their choice to ban Pinkerton because the dude straight up said "on March 27th we will get news". Today was the result of members making something out of nothing. Mods/Admins didn't say anything concrete

In a world were the mods/admins wouldn't have dropped cultural references and gifs for the last few days, Dee would have been banned by now.

 

I don't want Dee to be banned, not at all. He should stay here. He just hyped himself up, like I did last month with Pinkerton Spy. I learned my lesson and I think Dee also learned his lesson.

 

Now... I just want to point out the hypocrysi: Dee only got hyped up because of the mods teasing something (I know they did not tease the 26th specifically, but it was really suspicious).

Because of that, he strongly believed today R* will drop info about RDR2 and made it seem like it is totally happening and that he knew something.

Now the mods would have banned him if it wasn't on them too. They know it would be hypocritical at this point to ban RyanHunter, Frontiersman and gonnaenodaethat.

But even that in itself is hypocritical.

 

These forums have rules. Everybody who doesn't follow them should be punished. The way I see it, today this forum became lawless and a great place for trolls to prosper.

This is a private forum ran by private individuals. The rules are whatever the hell they want them to be at any given moment and that's the way it is on ANY website - freedom of speech does not apply to the internet. Also, if we are talking the letter of the law then half this subforums community would have at least been temp banned for one reason or another, the staffs leniency and willingness to just move on is the only reason why that's not been the case and that's what I'd advise anyone still pissed to do, just move on. News will come eventually.

Rockstar Games connection can be found on his website under the bio tab. Unfortunately there's no other mention of Rockstar Games or a specific game title on his recently updated November 2017 resume, but this does give us an indication that this is for an upcoming title - RDR2 (or something else), and not something already released (would be on his updated resume otherwise).

 

Going by his bio and film reels / voiceover, he's fluent in Spanish with an Argentinian background - could give an idea as to his characters background.

 

Can't see this being for anything other than a minor character/local population role with no mention of mocap experience anywhere on his website/resume.

 

edit: should also mention his other game related role - Dr. Serrano in Dead Space 3.

Still way, way too early for delay talk IMO. The previous two came with only like 3-4 months before the expected release where as we still have six months and a confirmed release DAY.
