Did all their games since IV get a cover story? Either way if it's not the next GI, I guess it could be the month after it but honestly it's better to start preparing for bad news if it's not the next one. Of course they could have decided to keep the marketing real close to actual release, but that's rather all of a sudden for their doing. This sh*t sucks.

Just gonna pop in real quick to say something i dont think anyone noticed. Now i know with all the silence, many think another delay, i understand but look.. even with gta v. Before gta online and everything. As long as it has f*cking FELT like hell and slow waiting for this, since the delay it has only been two months, almost 3. GTA V didnt get real " huge news" till 3 months after its delay announcement just about either..

 

 

RDR2 (Feb 1st, delay, news, may?)

GTA V (January 31st, delay, big news trailer came april 30th...) it will be 3 months once we hit may 1st next tuesday. Just saying... their pattern seems identical, minus gta v not knowing about its delay till january so therefore it got a GI cover 6 months before its intended release in may. Cover/news was in november. Again, just saying.. dont be surprised if they intentionally follow that pattern to a T.. dont let emotions overtake you... think with logic here. As long as tomb raider isnt the cover, you can be very sure RDR2 is super likely next week. And it was planned this way all along.

Yeah but GTAO wasn't a thing back then and since content for that is still rolling out now they have to find a way to share its space with RDR2. New special vehicle races are coming next week so surely we won't be getting anything on May 1st nor that whole week as I'm sure the focus will be on those new races. Our best bet are those weeks between the content drops (Week of May 7th and 21st for the current drip feed) as that's when they can put more of the focus on RDR2 since there'll most likely be no new content in GTAO during those weeks.

Also GTAV was delayed at pretty much the same time as RDR2 but it was set to come a month earlier so April 30th to September 17th was roughly four and a half months. This is after considering we already had the GI cover blowout the November prior though as well as two full trailers.

 

Ugh idk. I just have a really good feeling we'll get something big in May otherwise this game doesn't look like it's coming October 26th.

Odd this happened not long after the Pinkerton thing where a seemingly big deal was made about not acting like something is coming without proof. Maybe I just misread all that and its cool.

I think the difference is that Pinkerton was clear about a date. The mods/admins didn't confirm anything. In fact if you read back, it is purely a bunch of idiots creating hype out of nonsense.

Knowing how desperate everyone is for news right now, the right thing to have done is said - look guys we really dont know anything (or more than you know. Please stop taking all these random, vague things said and ignore them. As well as lock the usher hall Thread since there is no real eveidenxe and all it has done is add to the issue . But they knew by not locking it added to peoples hope.

 

Look I get it, they want more clicks. Cool. But in the process have also lost my trust in anything they say at this point. Admins should be held to a even higher standard that regular users.
