Almost every one of his posts for the last day or two. He's been playing along with the UH troll this whole time, and like I said as well - someone even unlocked one of the UH Troll's old posts after I made a post inquiring about said locked post. It's not a coincidence that when I inquired about why we should believe some troll who has no evidence to back his claim up and why he has had posts locked in the past, that post gets unlocked immediately afterwards. I don't know if it was Spider that unlocked it, but someone did which made all of this look a lot more suspicious.

I'm not referring to just generally being coy, I mean like clearly trolling people into thinking today would be some important reveal since that what everyone seems to be complaining about.

We should really investigate Frontiersman, RyanHunter and especially gonnaenodaethat. It's hypocrticial to not deal with them the same way Pinkerton Spy was treated or at least give them a temporary ban like me a month ago.

Does anyone think that perhaps they do know something is coming but people speculated the wrong day for the news to come out?

 

I just have a hard time believing that they would risk their reputation and the sites reputation just to troll people. That just doesn't make sense to me. To upset your community all for a joke doesn't seem like something they would do. If that is the case, its a really f'ed up joke. Personally, I think we should wait a bit and give the mods and admins a chance to prove themselves. It was users who speculated today was the day. They never gave us an exact date to expect, so I think we should wait maybe a week or two and see what happens.

 

Hopefully we get news soon.

This pretty much. Kirsty and Spidey are still respectable mods in retrospect. Do I hate them for confidently teasing today as the day? A little lol but that doesn't mean what was supposed to come today won't come at a later date.

Exactly. I am slightly upset, but I think there is a big possibility they do know something and that it will just come out another day soon. R* can change their plans at any time. We know how unpredictable they can be, so I think there is a large possibility that the date was moved from today.

I mean, we can point to the UH thread as much as we like but in regards to today being the day, there was nothing in that thread to suggest today. The whole today was the day thing was basically entirely from the 84 days picture and people doing things like taking the characters from "DeLorean" to make the number 26 lol.

 

Shoulda, woulda, coulda in regards to staff putting the brakes on before it got this out of hand but ya'know, it wasn't helped by the fact that some users here decided to run before they walk.

Honestly I dont think rockstar even gives a damn about this game.. tomorrow, the next day, next week, next year even, we probably will know the exact same thing we know now. Why even care anymore.

Just saving this for when Rockstar do reveal gameplay and things about RDR2 and you're back posting cumsplosion gifs because they've blown you away.

No The Benz and lack of content means that RDR 2 must be going through a development crisis. It all makes sense. This game is not worth anticipating and will be a failure. Hell, it might not even come out at all! Anyone else know a game called Agent?

The news window is still open up to T2's conference week, and a delay is technically possible. Projects of this size come across complicated difficulties and if they see a delay fits their long-term business plan, they'd be happy to hit the button again. Be open to all possibilities, and filter the noise along the way.

Right on. You should always take unverified sources and unconfirmed rumors lightly. There was no real indication that something was coming. It was all speculation, guessing, and riddles that got us to this point. I understand people being upset but at the same time, you should always take these kind of things lightly so we can avoid scenarios like the one we are currently in.

We didn't get news today, oh well. Really no different from any other day we expected news and got nothing. Tomorrow is a new day, and a new chance at news. Even if nothing comes, every day we inch closer to knowing more. We're almost there...don't let that hype die GTAF !!

It's not about that. There were also many folks around here not expecting anything today and still betting for the second week of May.

 

It is more about that we had like 6 people around here strongly pushing the narrative that something is happening without proving it. That would be considered trolling and a temporary ban would be necessary.

 

Hell, I was banned a month ago because I posted a cryptic alien poster and believed in Pinkerton Spy's date. And now nothing happens, even though they do just the same: Trolling (It is considered trolling, if they don't prove it, even if they may know something).

 

So news tomorrow according to Krusty ... I'm ready and hyped.

 

I hope this is a joke. A week before the Investor Call seems more likely.

I agree but from the looks of it, it seemed like a sure thing that Rockstar planned the reveal for today but changed plans last minute. Why is that so hard to grasp? I still feel they shouldn't have teased today as the day, instead simply teasing a reveal coming sometime soon given Rockstar's unpredictable nature but hey, sometimes the hype gets us all.

 

I'm confident something big is on the horizon.
