Heh... That is not the first time this has happened.

You choose to believe in unconfirmed sources, that's what happens. Hype blinds people in funny ways. Although I was in a similar situation a couple years ago.

 

I witnessed the hell that was to wait for the PC Version of GTA V, after that, no more.

Having to deal with bizarre people that claim to know something then later get banned because it wasn't true.

I remember spending hours, days and not even sleeping properly because of it. To this day I still have the OCD/Muscle Memory of entering GTAForums as soon as I open Chrome. It's bizarre...

Sadly in no way is it a given that we will get great news though. It's a very real possibility that they delay it again which at this point would just be ridiculous really but very possible sadly. I'm hoping they actually start with the marketing before that otherwise I see nothing good comibg from that call.
Yeah, but at least we'll have an idea. Either it's a delay or they'll have to give a decent estimate as to when the marketing ramps up.

True. And abother delay at this point would give them plenty of time to start the marketing like they always do. Definitely expecting another one and it's a goddamn shame. Why can't they learn from other companies and just announce sh*t when you're pretty goddamn certain it's coming?

Lets be honest, Kirsty could have dismissed the 84 years thing a minute after I posted it and some people here would still believe something is going on. There was no direct confirmation for anything, from anyone. Maybe it was a bit silly to let things play as they did but everyone should know how these things go by now.

I reach a point where I even doubt that there'll be any RDR2 news in May.

I think what people are missing is that most of us were hyped on a date that was never confirmed. I dont think the Mods/Admins are to blame at all for one reason only.

 

Most of you blame them for not saying anything when we came to the conclusion of news today. The mindset of well they didnt correct us so it must me true! doesnt work in the real world, nor will it benefit you here.

 

If they confirmed a date when we guessed one (which they didnt) then maybe we should be upset. But the fact of the matter is that we created hype out of memes completely unrelated to RDR2. Thats completely on us.

No one can save us now. Maybe there's some sort of animal, that we could make a sacrifice too. Like a giant buffalo, or some sort of monster, like something with the body of a walrus with the head of a sea lion. Or something with the body of an egret with the head of a meerkat. Or just... the head of a monkey, with the antlers of a reindeer, with, ah... the body of a porcupine.

I have a feeling that the mods do know something. They never said anything about news today but the GI cover is still coming around the corner. I dont think it will be TR. but Im not sure it will be RDR2 either.

It's disappointing we don't have news, yet. This is a worse wait than GTA V, now. But this week alone has seen Liverpool win a Champions League semi final against Roma 5-2, and Avengers Infinity War has finally released today! This has been one of my best weeks in living memory. Yeah, it sucks waiting... but try and live in the here and now. We'll hear something eventually. And the relief you will feel will be oh so sweet!

Yeah I think today was an awful guess to begin with. I have a good feeling about GI Cover but I dont want to get my hopes up. I think TR wouldnt do their own info blow out if they had a Gi cover because GI wont benefit from showing info from a game that already has its own info release.
