we all know Rockstar backs out of things last minute with everything so you never know ever what could be going down. This hype honestly wasn't bad tho to me, all good fun as i don't hold high hopes ever now knowing rockstars 'genius' marketing tactics.

Sam Housers bike had a burst innertube so they cancelled news today

I liked Jason's post because I thought it was hilarious how he connected RDR2 to a titanic meme and made a graphic out of it. I didn't even think he was serious. Come on now.

Serious question guys... do we really still believe that this game is coming in October? Why all of a sudden would they decide to shorten the marketing between release so much? I doubt that. I'm counting on a delay to March or May 2019.

I'm giving them until the Game Informer cover. If nothing then, well...

Yeah exactly. Did all their last gen games start with a GI cover story? I know for sure it was for V, but also for MP3, GTA IV etc? I guess it's possible that they decided to do things differently this time and not have a cover story or indeed start marketing very close to release, kinda like Bethesda did for Fallout 4. But even that was like six months before release. Really hope May doesn't bring bad news.

That's how I see it. This hype was fun. And R* must be doing something right when they have people getting legitimately upset and claiming "misery" when they aren't subjected to R*'s marketing. It's amazing.

It was nothing to do with Rockstars marketing. I don't have an issue with that. It's the hypocritical behaviour on here by people who you'd think would know better.
