yea exactly. What i think of it is that the no coincidence part of westworld starting right now IS because R* is gonna show RDR2 soon... they made it clear RDR is huge inspiration for their show. Marketing 101 riding the hype of the westerns right now, makes sense for them to co exist. Just like back when RDR2 was revealed, westworld started... does anyone really think that is a strange coincidence? It seems very planned to me, the stars align for them to cross paths, again.

Does anyone know the precedent rockstar had for tweeting about GTAO prior to RDR2s reveal and first/second trailer tease and release? Like did they tweet on odd days, or tweet less, or more or anything that might point to clues about what the coming days hold?

The guy just said "check out this fancy hotel". He's in LA, another journo with him said he's staying at the Biltmore(?) Hotel, so it's just a coincidence

It's all speculation of course. Just reading his tweets with a grain of salt. He says (in a rough translation) want to guess what game it is? Then says "it" matches the hotel. Out of all the games people are commenting, none match the style of that hotel yet RDR2's second trailer has a clip in a vault that looks very similar.

 

Not saying it isn't or cant be coincidence but damn if that isn't close looking to the RDR2 trailer shot

Hey. He doesn't say it matches the hotel. Google has "suite" because he said "naipe", which is Portuguese for playing card suits. No idea where the "match" part came from.

 

It's only a slang to show how cool the hotel is, dude's just bragging.

Tomb raider will be a good game, but god of war set a big standard for AAA Single Player Games and i don't think tomb raider gonna top it, as for Rdr2, it's an open world sure, but for it to be successful it should be innovative, and innovative is very hard nowadays.
