i like this picture. it portrays the realism of the wild west. my great great great grand pappy owned one of those horses. and he was one of the meanest deadliest and cold hearted man of the west. he told his family about the time he robbed a bank with that thing. the law was so busy laughing and joking at the horse they were so distracted and he ran off with the money. he once rode into a town. tumbleweed i think it was called. down in new autstin. he rode in there with his gang riding the same horses. and killed everyone in the town. all because people laughed at him and insulted him.

I didn't even know Premium Edition came out, now I'm even more pissed that Rockstar have re-released GTA V more times than we have RDR2 info

I have to say after playing far cry 5 for the past couple of weeks, the one thing I hope rockstar puts in RDR2 is bullet penetration.

 

My god there is nothing more annoying than not being able to shoot an enemy hiding behind a thin sheet of plywood with a .50 caliber sniper rifle.

 

On the flip side I hope the animal animations are just as good if not better. Watching a cougar take out a grizzly by jumping up on his back and hanging off his neck until takedown was breathtaking and way more than I expected from a far cry.

 

I can't wait to see what red dead has to offer if Ubisoft can do it this well.

Lol, same here. Somehow I missed it last week (and tried googling it today and didn't see it). Sorry for being blind and deaf.

 

Don't worry though, whenever the RDR2 marketing push begins it's going to be relentless throughout the summer.

Well first off they're separated into different teams. Multiple teams for Assassin's Creed titles alone. Second, it's Ubisoft. I'm sure they're teams are always restricted because of time and how they have to finish the product ASAP. They want to release a game after another.

Ubisoft have been releasing pretty decent open world games recently but they're a league below Rockstar, they're still mostly following trends instead of setting them. (and for some reason they refuse to get rid of the intrusve and immersion breaking UI/HUD and character outlines, etc.)

Nah don't get me wrong I totally understand the large group of people it took to make far cry 5, I just mean that it genuinely surprised me. Ubisoft doesn't have the best track record. And I haven't really cared for many of their games recently ( again not trying to yet again turn this thread into ubi bashing) but far cry 5 was a pleasant surprise in my case. I'm enjoying it more than I thought i would (enough to put off my God of war play through until I finish it and that's saying something considering that game is pretty much why I bought my ps4) And have restored a little faith in the company. If they can step up like this I'm excited to see what rockstar has in store.

 

And oh just because a large group works on a game doesn't mean it's going to be great just like a small team doesn't necessarily mean it'll be sh*tty.

Interesting. The 1914 edition of the Blackwater Ledger & Sentinel states that Edgar Ross had been stationed in Blackwater for the past seven years. I wonder if encroaching Government presence is what drove the Van der Linde gang away from West Elizabeth...

This Friday would have been RDR's 8th anniversary, before it got delayed until 18th May.
