Might as well look at is as something- I guess I wouldnt be too surprised if he is teasing us after the drought we are all going through but on the other hand is there really a point to teasing a game informer cover? Lol

For us hardcore fans, sure. For the general audience, not so much.They'll hear the news released, but most won't know about GI cover games. All the gaming sites online will regurgitate the info released, and the general audience will hear it that way.

Not really true. Game Informer is one of the biggest magazines in circulation in the US and thanks to being owned by GameStop, every store has copies and anybody in their rewards programming has a subscription.

Its the number 1 gaming mag in the world, not just the US. My point is your average gamer doesn't know that GI have a cover story/game every month, and that it's revealed the first tuesday of the month (which has often not actually been the case) What we're doing right now isn't what the average gamer does. Just look at the amount of people that won't even know about the leaked map or details we know about the game. When those things are revealed it'll be breaking news to them. Look at how many people fall for fake rumours or fan made trailers, and how many people still ask the release date of a game when it's been known for months! It's madness lol That was true for GTA V which is a lot more popular than RDR. So don't assume everyone is waiting for this like we are.

It's still kinda strange to wear a R* T-shirt for such an event, isn't it?

 

The human brain likes to see patterns in things that aren't really there. We make connections where we want them to be. Confirmation bias, etc. I wear gaming related shirts relatively often (I'm not in the industry though). So, I wouldn't read anything into it.

Nah we've had that since 2016, I think that's just the promotional art. Looks too bland to be the final cover art.

I don't think this box art is final.

Although the final one can be similar to the one we have now with the silhouettes but with art of Arthur in the background
