What are we all getting hype about? what happened? G.I. cover? Do we know when they're announcing it?

I'm still struggling to see the point in a GTAV "Premium Online Edition" when all updates in the game were free from the jump.

For those who purchase the premium edition, they can install all those substantially large updates from the disk instead of needing to download them. Im assuming its more expensive than just the original standalone game because it includes the updates that cost a sh*t ton of in game money to take advantage of. Its a shark-cardless shark card in disguise.

 

That is unless this becomes the only available edition. And they retire the normal version.

This would actually fit well with a supposed marketing timeline with them getting ready to slow down GTA and start up with Red Dead

For real...these last couple months have been brutal. If this is how they market now, I’m not even paying attention to Bully 2 until a week before it comes out.

Heres a little perspective change for yall. Listen. Why is this GTA 5 premium edition so bad? Its the "complete" edition aka the end of all the big stuff. Its been speculated and already mostly confirmed that this next GTA online update WILL be the last big one as *wait for it....* they are ready to move on to Red Dead Redemption 2!! So therefore, they delayed the premium edition that was gonna be out already (surprise surprise) likely because they are waiting for this last update to come out. The small updates in the future, do not need to be included in the bundle as they arent big enough and can just be little tweaks.

 

All in all idk how no one saw it this way, but even though gta and red dead can live together, R* already confirmed gta o IS going to slow down, and take two wants to give the franchise a rest. This is a good thing. GREAT actually! This is about the end of gta 5 huge cycle. They wanna get some last sales and new players into online with all the new toys so once RDR2 is out in october and gta slows tf down, their players on gta wont be so mad and leave immediately. They will have plenty to do while the focus shifts to yet again believe it or not *gasps* RDR2!

I seriously wanna at least attempt to help the worries and let you see a different perspective of what this truly means. Its not bad at all. Its the opposite.

friendly reminder for those that think gta v premium edition right bow is a bad thing... its the best thing in a while in terms of focus switching to what we want... RDR2. Read this ^ tell me if ur perpsective changed

But just watching legacys rdr walkthrough and nothing beats the original rdr in my opinion. There's just something about it I can't put my finger on...

Sorry to double post but just picked up on some dialogue from the start of the game.

 

Bill says to John "You always were one for fancy words". This suggests to me that there was always some contempt between bill and John.

 

Also he says "now, I'M in charge ", WITH EMPHASIS on the I'm, which suggests that bill always wanted to be making the decisions or perhaps felt undermined in the original gang.

 

Interesting to see how that plays out come Oct.

Difficult task considering the opposition, but in my opinion rdr2 can only be compared with rdr. Gow is a completely different game.

Also, HTTPS Everywhere. Forces HTTPS encryption on sites. Do your own research, EFF.org great resource.
