In my opinion, they'll announce more news on the newswire.

Rockstar are bribing people to subscribe to the mailing list, which has only happened in the past before RDR2's second trailer released.

Something's coming.

Game informer will likely reveal the cover in the first week of May. They usually do the first week of the month. I think the chances are high of it being RDR. VERY high. I cant rhink of other games that could take its place right now.

That's not quite true tho... 3 of the last 5 covers were not revealed on a Tuesday. It's pretty random actually.

Hopefully the folks at game informer will give us the release date and/or give us a tease. Anticipation will be at almost heart attack levels these next couple weeks.

Just out of curiosity when a game gets an edition like this does that mean thats basically the end of the games timeline???

 

It marks the end of the *first* cycle of GTA Online, portending an even bigger second wave that will never end, as GTA Online sells to successive generations of 8 year olds worldwide, until the end of time. After another 5 years, they'll probably have enough additional GTA0 DLC to create a new first-time-user catch-up GTA0 bundle, for the kids who are still sh*tting in their diapers now.

I assume packages like this are a way to get a jump start into GTA Online, for each new generation of kids who were too young the year before.

 

Like when Rockstar put out the Episodes from Liberty City, it was a way for all the kids who had been too young for GTA IV, to get all the goodies for a bundled price.

That's true, too - I expect very few people bought The Lost & Damned episode by itself. I know I didn't. No way a loser biker story was worth any money to me.

 

But when they bundled TLOD and TBOGT together with the GTA IV base game also included for free, and basically for one third of the $60 new game price, I bought it again, and I bought it for at least one other platform as well. That was certainly worth it. In a sense, I was like a new player buying new content for the first time.

From past replies on this topic it seems that anything major coming out is being covered by someone else, or has already been covered. I think Tomb Raider is being covered by someone else or doing stuff at E3, GOW got it's cover & is out (obviously lol), Spider-Man just got it's cover, other than that idk what else it could be besides RDR2. There's probably a title or 2 that I'm missing that could be it, I'm not sure. It'll probably be something I've never even heard of. Lol

We've only seen two 1 minute long trailers and screenshots.. GOW has a very high chance of winning, very high. But it's still not fair to say that RDR2 will definitely lose when we've seen SO little.
