yep! Thats why i personally am so glad its in september. It will make that last month before being able to say "its coming out this month!!" Sooooo much easier.

Yeah the wait would suck without any interesting games in the meantime but damn! I'm looking forward to Yakuza 6 and God Of War this month, E3 in June, Yakuza Kiwami in August, Spiderman in September, Battlefield 2018 earlier in October and the icing on the cake in late October. And hey... Summertime is also in between (with lots of RDR news). Some amazing months ahead!

^ save the best for last remains true here and omg dont even get me started on e3 thats gonna be LIT as f*ck this year!! FROM software has a new game coming out too which i have no idea when it would be, just excited to see what it is, likely at e3... Guaranteed its the highest chance we ever will see anything R* at e3 in a big way as well. (Im willing to bet sony will have something on stage even if its just an exclusive e3 trailer of something)

This is something I've been questioning too tbh. I've never seen a hat with a band similar to the one Arthur uses. Someone suggested in the Screenshot thread that it might be a bull-whip, and I think they're right. Apparently whips can actually be used as a hat-band for cowboy hats, although I couldn't find a whole lot of information about the historical origins of that technique. I think this lends credibility to the idea that Arthur is/was a rancher, because that would easily explain his use for it.

It really is man, my only issue is will i complete the game before october 26. It is going to be very difficult trying to convince myself to play anything else afterwards.

Bruh it's a wrap for me and any other game after Red Dead comes out. Especially after waiting this long to play it. Once I'm done with the single player mode I'm heading straight online.

 

For real for real man, im not f*ckin around. All them sh*ts will sit there and collect dust until its over im sorry man lol. Online will be life for me after story so i have to put in some work.lmao I feel you bruh. Online is gonna be lit. I can already imagine riding around with the gang f*ckin sh*t up.

I confess that I have always found it tiring to have three characters in GTAV. I just did not care about them, unlike the other franchise games with just one protagonist. By now it's kind of obvious that Arthur is the only character, and I'm pretty curious to know more about the man with the cleanest nails in the west.

Me too... theres still much story to tell from john and his family. I especially see abigail being a big part of new story details, the dynamic of her relationship with the gang and john. According to dutch she was a no good whore who slept with everybody at least once lol

I do think we will get character switching in the game, but only during missions

 

Arthur is still the central protagonist and the character you play in free roam, but i just don't see rockstar throwing away their character switching system

Thats what i was thinking. The system will be similar to red dead revolver. Switching characters on certain missions/scenes but arthur is main protag

There is always so much to read when I look into this thread in the morning 5/6 pages or more ... puh ^^ unbelievable how active it is here, although it takes more than 6 months.
For me it is currently silent when it comes to gaming. When I play, then a few older games. GoW and SpiderMan don´t interest me that much ... but that's not so bad. Spring and summer are coming and I will be much on the road around Europe this year. Next week Italy, a bit later France and Netherlands ... but I will continue to read and follow the news here. I will not miss it

Yes, God of war is also a Sony exculsive but its releasing before E3 2018.

Sony has a ton of games to show at this year's E3. Days Gone, Ghost of Tsushima and Death Stranding will definitely be there and if Dream isn't released by then, it will show up. There is From Software's game which probably isn't an exclusive and there's COD: BO IIII gameplay. None of them have been officially confirmed but they're pretty obvious. Plus new games and announcements that we don't know of.

 

But it would be amazing to see RDR2 at Sony's conference. Last year I had the chance to watch it in a theater here in Canada and it was miles better than streaming at home. I even remember at the end of the briefing the lights went red and I had a mini heart attack lol

I really hope that we get an info blowout like we are right now with Spider-Man. So much has been shared and so much has been shown. I think R* may have some competition in terms of most compelling open world judging by the details so far. Sounds like insomniac really made something incredible with the liveliness and interaction of the world.

Also starting to feel a lot of appreciation for devs like Insomniac. They really care about the game and treat their fans more like friends than anything. Very responsive on social media, open to fan suggestions throughout development and NO MICROTRANSACTIONS
