Do you guys think their will be bounty hunting like in the first game

 

at first glance, it doesn't really make sense for Arthur, an outlaw himself, to be hunting down other outlaws

 

with John, he was at least working with the law as a pseudo-cop/bounty hunter at the time, plus he was a reformed outlaw so it made sense in his character

 

but does it really make sense for Arthur?

I watched a western once (I'll get back to you on the title) but this guy was an outlaw and did bounties. The thing was though the lawmen were crooked whom he was collecting them for. Probably doesn't answer your question but that is a good one you are mentioning...

 

Speaking of bounties...

 

What if in multiplayer there are bounty posters in certain towns of real-life players in your online session? Like, their online character's face smack dab on the poster with the reward underneath his mug? That would be dope!

^hell yea!! that is exactly how it should go. Say you get off a train and grab a news paper you can read through it or check to see who is a Wanted in your session. That is where barbers and outfits could come into play, having to disguise or alter your appearance to refrain from being caught.

The only day I'm excited for at this point is October 26. I wouldn't even count on a tease from R* themselves if it happens. Tuesdays and Thursdays come and go but one thing is for certain: the game is coming out later this year and that's all that matters.

Yea i really cant wait for the coverage to start tomorrow. God of war has my interest, Spider-Man PS4 has my attention, and RDR2 has me by the nuts. The combat is what sold it for me. The engagement with the world and the amount of substantial content will be the final test. Im a New Yorker, i know Spider-Man is based out of Manhattan but all i ask is for my boro of Brooklyn to be included. I don't really mind as long as there is more than 1 city to explore unlike GTAV. DLC plans are going to be interesting to see what they do.

Polishing time and bug fix is the most important part of game development. I finished FC5 and I can say that it is a very fun game with incredible graphics but there are many bugs, it seems that the game could not by a rigid quality test. An open-world game requires much more attention than that compared to a linear game. Rockstar certainly does not want to deliver anything like that. So trust yourself that the wait will be worth it.

 

I just finished John Seeds region. Trying to take my time and completely explore everything because there isn't a game on my radar besides RDR2. There is definitely quite a bit of bugs, nothing that's been frustrating or that get in the way of gameplay but things like it not saving progression where I cleared/ looted/ read an entire place, fast traveled to somewhere then back and everything was the same as it was when I was there originally found it and had to redo everything. Overall its entertaining to play and should serve well until I finish it.

 

Having spent a bit of time fairly recently playing RDR I find it amazing that comparing it to FarCry 5's dialog and facial animations, it shows just how good R* really is. Comparing FC5 facial animations to RDR2's 2nd trailer (yeah, I know its just a trailer) the look like they're on different console generations haha

There's been murmurings about everything but we know absolutely nothing, not even a lucky guess(except those that predicted delays and got raked over the coals for it). We're now in the same situation we've been since the beginning - Promises of more to come, followed by nothing, followed by bad news.

 

There will definitely be a collectors edition.

If you ask me.. this Spider-Man PS4 release date as well as game informer cover now, bodes well for a RDR2 cover next month.. (as long as it id even in the plans.) Spider man has a cover right now, which the game is coming out in september. RDR2 comes out the month after so of we go by logic on this "one month ahead of schedule" then there you have it. It wouldnt have made sense to have RDR2 cover right this month when spidey comes out before it.
